Disinterested barman, €5 Guinness 6.5/10, no fancy shite. Old men drinking. Exactly how a scaldy pub should be. Enjoy bathing in the thoughts of how life led you here. 5 stars.

Traditional pub, serving us a great pint of Guinness, which was our goal! Bartender was friendly and helped me over with the drinks to my end of the bar where we were sitting. Enjoyed the music playing on the big TVs, although we would have lived live music of course!

Pub was reasonably busy, but it was not crazy. Guy behind bar was more worried about changing volume on t.v than serving a drink. Very polite girl served me after several failed attempts at asking the other guy, Guinness was e5.80, not the dearest, but not the cheapest either

Great little boozer. €4.80 for a Guinness which just goes to show you, you don't need to rip people off to run a business. I walk past her on the way home from work and try to pop in every now and then. Lovely staff and great patrons.

Good Guinness and service, but not the historic pub we hoped it was. We get the history of the Auld Triangle. I hoped this would be a treasure trove of history, but alas, not the case.

21/06/2025: Cozy and tranquil place with good vibes and ever better sandwiches! I'm usually not a huge fan of toasties because I think you get less than what you pay for, but these toasties were huge and filled with quality ingredients — very reasonably prized as well! They had them ready very quickly as well. The drinks were more on the pricey side, but they were good enough, so checks out. The interior was very tranquil and cozy, we had a very confortable chess match in the upper floor. I wish I could share a picture of the toasties, but we devoured them before we could think of that. Perhaps next visit. ; )
20/06/2025: Sandwich was tasty but service was not great. Not a place to go if you want to grab a quick bite to eat.

27/06/2025: Went yesterday with a friend and we had Yoki Udon and big Salmon Futomaki. The yoki udon noodles were very nice, the dish it’s quite oily though. I tried one of the sushi but it’s not my favourite, seemed like it’s from the fridge after a day, or something like that, but my friend really loved it, so I guess it depends on the person. Price is very acceptable and staff is nice.
