The Avon in Blessington

Nice place for a visit, a coffee and a walk, all in all a beautiful place not far from Dublin. The experience was only marred by the encampment of haters at the entrance with their angry Irish flags. They were pretty pathetic in fairness.

Such a beautiful lake side sitting area. You got few benches to enjoy the truck food there. Options include pizza, fries, hotdogs. Such magical views

Didn't stay at the hotel. Done 2 hours kayaking, this been my first time i was scared but once we were taking out into the water I absolutely loved it felt so relaxed tours guides were amazing jordan was one of them. Followed by an hour in the recovery room. Sauna, ice bath, steam room and hot tub with the most breath taking views in front. Highly recommend for anyone. Lots of kids with families on the day so plenty for kids. Plenty of food spots too and picnic areas. I had the pizza was delicious. Will be back with my own kids for a day trip and alone to rest and reset again.

Best burger in whole ireland. Live music. Outdoor dining, dogs are welcome. Great atmosphere.

That place is heavenly. Perfect place to spend the time from afternoon till sunsets. Lush green moutains, crystal clear water, wicklow breeze and good Coffee. Wish there was a good vegetarian/halal option for food as well.

Another family resort gone for free living

Very nice place to spend a nice afternoon. Picturesque area, possibility of renting kayaks or bikes. Next to it is an excellent food court - the best pizza I've eaten in Ireland. Parking available at the facility €3 per day. Updated 2025: the place is losing its charm, it is becoming very commercial, the double-decker bus disappeared along with the pizza. Now there is a new building and average pizza... What a shame

Updated to a beautiful, familial and fortunate location overlooking one of Blessington's lakes. Live music, gourmet food & accommodating staff. I would highly recommend a stay or a function.

Very nice place about 30 km from Dublin ... a perfect place for one day family trip ... lack view seating area is very beautiful and many activities to do for children ... restaurant is also very nice and clean ... food quality is very nice ... rates are affordable and moderate for common people ... parking is available ... nice place to visit with family and friends ...

Excellent walkway between sister accommodation. Food trucks are nice on a sunny day
