Very friendly helpful staff with a warm welcoming smile and lovely surroundings and excellent service and bar service

The food was decent but nothing special.

I’m not usually this impressed by local pubs in Ireland, but West Wicklow House in Blessington definitely gets our blessing! The food was outstanding—we tried the sirloin ciabatta and the Irish beef burger, and both were excellent. The staff were genuinely warm, welcoming, and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. If I had one small suggestion, I’d lose the plastic plants and fake ivy on the ceiling—they’re the only thing that felt out of place. Otherwise, a fantastic spot that I’d happily recommend!

We ate there at 3:30 pm. We were greeted and served with courtesy. The various meals were good and plentiful. Very satisfied.

Very friendly and smiley staff, which made the experience really welcoming. I came all the way from Dubai to Ireland, and this was the only place I found serving halal fish and chips without batter — and it was very good! We ordered many dishes including the salmon, chicken fajitas, and fish and chips, and overall the food was fresh and enjoyable. Only one small point for improvement: the fish could use a little more salt. Overall, a very nice experience and I would recommend it.

Coming from America, we felt like we were in a Hallmark movie complete with quaint old ladies, good-looking staff and Old World atmosphere. The food & service were excellent, but most importantly, the people were sincerely nice and friendly as they were throughout Ireland. Highly recommend.

Beautiful food very tasty + proper gravy ,we had the turkey +ham special it comes with a desert for €23.95 .Even though it was very busy ,as it was a Sunday lunchtime,we got great service from the lovely waiting staff ,we were not long waiting at all ,we sat in the beer garden which is fully heated and comfortable.Great food great service and lovely place.
