The Bank on College Green in Dublin

A cosmopolitan gem set in an old bank (hence the name) reminiscent of a bygone golden era. Great crowd, great beer, great service and great food. Completely checking out the ambience is a must!

Lovely venue and atmosphere - and my review is based on my experience that day . We had a family booked in - but when we went to order they where out of a chicken and steak sandwich; which was what we wanted) If we had known might have not dined. Our server didn’t really go into why - what we got was fine- but based on that day we where disappointed- but it is lovely venue and cost atmosphere .

The Bank offers you a modern and exquisite spin on your regular pub food, but the absolute highlight is its location! The space, formerly inhabited by (guess what) a bank, is lavishly decorated and purely stunning! What's even better is that, as a diner, you're seated on the balcony of the main bar, so you get a bit of a view of the crowds below - and things are quieter up here, too. And don't forget that you're closer to the stained glass ceiling! Cocktails and food were great - I had the vegetarian Wellington and a panna cotta to share as dessert, and I can also vouch for the fish and chips and the burger! What needs to be pointed out is the excellent and attentive service: Our waitress was funny, helpful and really delightful! We came for a special occasion, but I'd say it's nice for any dinner plans you may have in Dublin!

Madly busy just before Xmas, but staff did a good job of serving everyone. We only had drinks. Beautifully decorated and great pints of Guinness.

Probably one of the best lunches I've ever eaten. Ever! Can't wait to invent an excuse to return.

First time in the Bank Pub, impressed how beautiful and well decorated the pub was inside....old vault still on display going down to toilets as well to remind you that you are in a bank.

Old disused bank, used as a restaurant, the environment is fabulous, mosaic floors, ceilings with fantastic stuccos.... to try!! Despite being a luxurious place the prices are in line with other pubs and restaurants. I forgot.....a pianist who plays celestial music....the only flaw is the men's bathrooms which are not very practicable...

Very busy, very loud! We went for dinner, it never happened. After several drinks it was too loud, too busy, and standing room only. We left and ended up elsewhere. This place was more like a club than the restaurant we were told it was.
