This was a gem! Right by the Hilton where I was staying. Great service from friendly people. John was top-notch. He made me feel like a local/regular from day one. Really enjoyed the music too. Definitely will be back.

The food here is great and the Guinness was delicious. Highly recommend! The best part of our visit is how they helped out a group of five American tourists have a great last night in Ireland. We didn't have a reservation on a Saturday night and every place we popped into didn't even give us the light of day. McCaffertys gave us a table despite having a full house and a Christmas Party for a local business. Thanks for a memorable night! Go raibh maith agat.

Great Irish Pub! Lively and cozy atmosphere, especially around Christmas time. Good food and amazing desserts!

My family and I were in town to visit family in Galway, we spent our last couple nights in Dublin, while staying at the Clayton hotel we came across McCaffertys! This place was a gem, the service was great from the start, from the gentleman at the front door helping us to find seating to the bartender keeping us company while we wait for the seating. We eventually after a short wait got sat, my son and I ordered their sirloin steak which was prepared perfectly, I paired this with a Guinness which was absolutely delicious. Thanks for having us McCaffertys and keep up the great work. I highly recommend a visit here when visiting Dublin, Ireland !

I was here with my son last year. Now I brought my husband to experience it and relive the good times. Everything was great. My husband enjoyed it so much that, despite the numerous options in Dublin, we decided to spend another night. The portions are generous and the prices are very fair. It's a very pleasant experience.

Enjoyed my visit very much. Great atmosphere and venue. Let be all the cups and other pieces under the ceiling. Great selection of both beer and whisky. Big thanks to John (and his 34 years of experience!) for helping me choose some amazing whisky and a little chat. It may be a bit pricey, but I loved every moment of it. A very warm welcome.

We only had a drink; it was a very typical and charming pub with friendly and attentive service.

Fui a Irlanda para mi viaje de 50 días y esta fue la primera parada cuando llegamos a la ciudad y nuestro último bc IT era nuestro claro lugar favorito para tomar un Guinness y comer! La comida de marisco y el pan de queso son ridículamente buenos y Gabriel nos sirvió con un ambiente acogedor positivo y un gran servicio!

We spent last Sat eve in the Barge for my son"s 21st, we had plattersof yummy food & btls of prossecco. The bar staff were more than helpful & gr8 fun, a shout out to Antolio (who was only there 3 days) and looked after us so well, also Gabrielle who was so welcoming, helpful & friendly. Heard 2 gr8 bands and had a wonderful fun evening. Would certainly recommend for a night out.
