The Bird Flanagan in Dublin

Lovely pub for a drink and a chat with Luke the bar manager bar staff know what they are doing as do the floor staff

Nice relaxing atmosphere, very pleasant staff

Bird Flanagan is a bit old fashioned in a sort of 1970's Coronation Street Rovers Return way, and that is its great charm, not pretentious, and mercifully not ruined like so many places by over modernisation. Instead it feels lived in, full of genuine people, characters and regulars, the atmosphere extremely friendly and the staff attentive and we welcoming including table service. TV screens also to watch the match in comfort if you want. Only downside, and it's a glaring one - there is no food menu, even for lunch time. While the absence of the increasingly high priced "restaurant standard" food menus of so many pubs is very much to be welcomed, at the same time an offering of modest, unassuming old fashioned pub grub would be hugely popular, and exactly what this pub needs. Even if only a Betty's hotpot (and veggie version) at lunch time like in the Rovers... 🍲

We were on Saturday night, and it was hopping some great singers and 1or 2 not but people up dancing and the crack great

Great pub. Beautiful and large. They have lots of televisions and two beautiful fireplaces.

Local pub. Great craic for karaoke and bingo nights 🥃😆

Had such a great night in the Bird Flanagan, so cosy and a great atmosphere, the craic was mighty as there was live music on, the staff couldn’t be more friendly and the service was on point, would highly recommend dropping in for a few drinks

Luke was on allways good when lukes on Few fints bit of a chat time well spent

Was there on Friday and because I asked for the rugby to be put on a small telly I got bared by a pettie person behind the bar so I would not recommend this place as the they befer one pints wonders to locals
