Best milkshakes on the planet! We visit Ireland once a year for our holiday. And every time we pass through Glengarriff, we have to stop by to get a milkshake from the Black Cat. Our favourite? The caramel milkshake! They're made with syrup, cream, several scoops of ice cream and a little milk to fill the remainder of the cup. It's very rich, creamy and an absolute flavour bomb. There are even little pieces of caramel in it because of the ice cream. It simply can't get any more caramel packed than that. Looking forward to stop by again!

The Tara Vale

06/04/2026: Dropped in to watch Ireland Women Football game. Liverpool were playing the same night, and the Bar Manager was able to split the TV Screens, so everyone was happy. Felt like I was in someone's Living room, with a couple of lively locals at the Bar. They seemed like good Craic, and there's a good atmosphere in the Cosy Bar. They do Food on the Weekend.

19/04/2026: I was having some typical airport struggles that were getting frustrating and the staff there took a moment to be especially kind to me when they really didn't have to. It's not something you typically experience in airports, so I just hope that the management acknowledges their kind-hearted staff who clearly goes the extra mile for customer service.
14/04/2026: As always excellent food & wine here. I recommend getting a bite to eat here before heading off on your flight. All the staff are friendly and helpful, but our waiter Killian is exceptionally good & efficient.
