The food and service has always been excellent. Great food and portions plus very good value. Good pints of Guinness. Doing business for over 200 years so must be doing something right.

If the field was set in Inchicore it would be easy to imagine the bull macabe marching into this pub, telling everyone that no yank would buy his field and then buying everyone a drink. Now imagine he also buys everyone food. Not bad food, not brilliant food, just food. Unfortunately the bull went to far and his own honour drove him to madness. The great man that he was, none of that carry on will be tolerated in the black lion.
