Really love this cafe. Staff are very friendly and food is excellent quality. Cakes are especially delicious. Beautiful location - always a pleasure to visit!

Very cozy cafe with a beautiful views and nature around. The ladies behind the counter were accommodating and the place had variety of dairy free and gluten free products. I took the gf brownie and it was lovely with my oatmilk cappuccino.

Lakeside cafe beside Farmleigh house. Can get very busy and long queues on sunny days and weekends. Nice outside seating on a good day by the lake.

The Dalkey Duck, menu

13/05/2025: The place have a nice beer garden, perfect for a sunny day. Inside, the pub is quite dark though, like many Irish pubs fit for an evening drinking. The food was served all at the same time, starter and main. As a result the main was cold and looked reheated. It wasn't bad but could be better. Fish chowder was more liquid than creamy. Nice place for a few beers out in the sun but not for food.
11/05/2025: Great food with a nice outside area… the portions are big and the food is flavourful, will definitely be back to try something else on the menu

04/05/2025: Dined here recently, best way to describe it is "OK". I wouldn't get excited about it or return. The food is basic cooking and expensive. The service is amateur and all over the place. Also...the restaurant is cold to dine in. Sorry but that's the way it was ..
12/12/2024: Very, very good food, amazing service, kind staff. Zero complaints. Will 100% be back.
