The Bogbean was the best place we stayed in all of Ireland. The rooms are huge, the food ..that’s delivered to your room in the morning … is delish! The staff were so nice. I couldn’t give a better review. Stayed there mid July for 3 nights :)

Really cute and cozy cafe. pastries and cakes were very good and the coffee was delicious. Menu is really nice for kids. Staff are lovely. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely coffee and scone in this small, busy spot. Friendly staff and good service. It's just a pity that plates and cups are all disposable. Even if they are compostable, one would have thought that pottery / china would be more sustainable

With family and friend we stopped at this cafe shop. Coffee was nice, we liked local made ice-cream, all cakes looked delicious, we will stop for them next time. Staff was extremely friendly, we felt very welcome there. Everything seemed spotless clean there. Well run business.

O'Dowd's of Roundstone

24/10/2024: oysters were back,. and. delicious grilled with breadcrumbs and garlic butter. I need more. A grey damp. off-season day, wonderful. NOW back in. June 2024, excellent as ever, but prefer it off season. and returned 24Oct2024. Off season is best, and thankfully it stays open.
15/10/2024: We stayed in Roundstone for a week and had planned on making breakfast and dinner most days but we never did because O’Dowd’s Cafe had fab breakfast and we had late lunches or dinner in the pub or restaurant just about everyday. Everyone was so kind and the food was delicious. Basic pub food and also wonderful steaks and seafood. Views are pretty spectacular too. See you next year!
