The BOOK MARKet in Kells

Delicious home made foods like fish pie, sausage rolls, lasagne and gourmet sandwiches, cakes and treats. They usually have the fire going so its cosy and warm. There's lots of second hand books to browse or read whilst having a coffee or hot chocolate. The staff are friendly and efficient. Cafe is town centre so everything is on your doorstep like thrift shops, old churches and graveyards, pubs, shops, chemist, hotel.. the book market cafe is like a taste of home in kells in meath

First time there yesterday. Real friendly spot. We were told it would take a bit of time to be served as they were really bussy. Worth waiting for. We will be back😉

We were lucky to sneak in for some late lunch on your trip through Kell’s this summer. Our highlight was our charming waitress Annie and our lovely crisp sandwich. The town was getting ready for an art festival and we just happened to find this cute place filled with books and conversation!

Yummy full Irish breakfast and coffee for €13 - unbelievable quality and value. Nice space too
