Local hangout for a lot of the Wicklow and Rathnew people, so usually pretty busy and sometimes hard to find parking. Had a few options on the menu and am never disappointed. Staff are alwayss friendly and attentive.

Atmosphere was nice, the girls serving were lovely but food wasn’t great at all. Ridiculous that 15% of tips go to the kitchen. I wanted to tip the floor staff for their service and not the kitchen for the food.

I just wish they would leave the sugar out of the batter as it turns fish and chips as well as the onion rings from a potential 5/5 to a 2/5. They're sweet and it just doesn't work.

Mezzanine Cafe

20/10/2025: Was in Earls last weekend, I had a lovely sandwich and coffee made by the super staff. Big shout out to Tom who was very friendly and obliging. I’ll be back!
15/07/2025: I am very fond of this cafe which has seats both upstairs and downstairs. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. There is not a great deal of vegetarian or vegan food however, hence my reason for removing one star. Lately the upper part of the cafe has closed and the tables from there put into the downstairs part overcrowding the cafe downstairs. I no longer go there as the tables are too close together and people looking for cards etc. have to lean across the diners. It is a great pity that the upstairs section has been closed. However, the food is still good.
