The Brass Fox in Wicklow

Just the perfect place for lunch in Wicklow Town! My mom, toddler son and I enjoyed friendly service from Janet, along with delicious food. The “Cub Club” meal was an excellent value with chicken bites, chips, a drink and ice cream. The fish and chips portion with mushy peas was huge and I’m so glad we shared the plate! Giant pint glasses with ice water and lemon kept us hydrated from busy days of travel. Lovely pub atmosphere. Highly recommend. Pro Tips: - Bring the kids! It’s super family friendly and they even have books, crayons and board games for the little ones. - Easy walking to the harbour front

We went there on a Thursday for lunch, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. The food was delicious and plentiful. Excellent value for money.

Very nice, helpful staff. Food good, and plenty of it. Lovely lunchtime atmosphere in an old pub with lots of different areas to sit. Outside tables too, but too cold for us. Ladies toilets were very clean. Nice location, very close to the sea.

The chicken tacos were nice and a good portion size. The pizza was average, especially given the price.

Went to The Brass Fox for breakfast and had a great experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the food was lovely, really tasty and fresh. Everything came out quickly and was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back

I have changed my very positive reviews... Prices here are getting stupid.... 28 euro for a steak sandwich... A steak sandwich in most other places is budget option like a burger... But the straw that broke it was 2.95 for a dash of lime cordial.... WOW. Something that cost literally cents. I'm all for changing it a business after all. But particularly when eating charging 3 euro for a dash of lime is actually insulting. I won't be back until they cop on with the stupid price gouging... RE reply . Ok if that the way you want to serve a steak sandwich thats your choice but in most places steak sandwich is a cheaper option , but going back to the Pint of cordial ... I actually complained at the time because it wasnt a pint, it was a dash of lime in water . I said it at the time to the bar maid and she agreed with me but said her hand were tied and also admitted this get complained about a lot and said it was embarrasing ... I just think it petty when people are paying good money and I will admit your food is very good that you have to extract every last cent for something lets face it cost little to nothing .

We had a late lunch here. The service was a tad bit slow but good natured and fun! We had the pepperoni pizza with GF crust, a Cesar salad, and the fish and chips. It was all very good. The good came out quickly. We would come back! There were not too many GF options so I was glad for the pizza. The chef came out to ask it we wanted lime nuts in the salad. It was a nice touch in the solar and a thoughtful gesture!

We had the chicken tacos and buttermilk strips with a few pints. The atmosphere was good and the bar person Shane was exceptional as well as Zeb, kept us entertained and were very attentive to us Will be back again
