Great food in a great spot. Cool place. Lots of parking, right on the ocean front. Easy walk to the harbor beach and the river. All around decent place to stop.

Alfie's CafƩ is attached to The Brass Fox and what a lovely cafƩ. It's dog friendly, the food is delicious and the service excellent. And their prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this cafƩ.

Just wanted to leave 5* here for the lady that served me today. Her name was Janet I believe. What a credit she is to your business (and no, I don't know her! š¤£) A warm welcome, and served quickly.
I know hospitality is a tough industry but it really makes such a difference when a staff member is so friendly and kind. Sometimes I believe it is the welcome and the staff that keep people coming back.
Food was only ok, the soup was really salty and brown bread wasn't nice, next time I'll get the chicken tacos - they are always a winner!

If you find yourself strolling along the Wicklow Town coastline and are looking for a place that combines the warmth of a traditional pub with a modern, quirky, and characterful twist, The Brass Fox is the perfect choice. Located in a stunning location near the Murrough Walk and the Vartry River, the menu offers a fantastic variety that will please everyone, from hardcore carnivores to vegans (they have an entire vegan menu!).
The "Foxy Wings": Their chicken wings (available in a variety of sauces, from classic spicy to mild BBQ) are legendary in the area: crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. Their Irish beef burgers (like the famous Doirty Burger) are huge, hearty, and come with their iconic spiced foxy fries. The classic fish and chips are also excellent, featuring the freshest cod wrapped in a light, crispy batter.
The interior is a masterpiece of quirky design: the decor combines vintage elements, cozy nooks like the Snug (the typical private seating area in Irish pubs), and colorful, modern details. It also features a beautiful heated outdoor terrace, ideal for both summer evenings and enjoying a pint al fresco in the cooler months. The atmosphere is vibrant and cheerful, and the welcome is exactly what you'd expect from the heart of Ireland.
š¾ Top-notch Service (and Dog-Friendly!)
The staff is one of the absolute strengths: always smiling, super attentive even during busy periods, and with a relaxed attitude that makes you feel instantly at home. A huge plus: the pub is dog-friendly in its covered outdoor areas, so you can happily visit with your four-legged friend after a walk on the beach.
