Great location to meet and chat over a drink or a bite to eat. Plenty of options on the menu to satisfy any taste, they also have a good vegan menu.
Lovely bar & restaurant with plenty of seating areas. The staff are welcoming, friendly and very patient.
I chose to meet up with family here, so we could share photos and stories of the past over lunch. It was the perfect setting.

Food can be hit & miss but I came here to say the price of your kids menu is extortion! 11.95 for 2x sausages and a small portion of chips. Insane. Never been anywhere that charges much more than 5/6 euro. Also a baby bowl for €7 is even crazier. Sort it out

Ordered starter wings, gave instructions I'll be sitting outside. No food came, went inside looking for food, it was left at the end of bar getting cold. Plus no celery 6/10.....Crazy
3rd time visiting, excellent food etc👌

Really great place. Food was good but not the best.i had a vegetarian burger. Was a bit dry and not so much flavour. Service was a bit slow, but they had a lot of young staff. It was pet friendly, what we wanted. I will still recommend the place as we got a good vibe, good service and atmosphere.

This is THE best place to eat in Ireland.
You might be thinking “Hold your horses there fella!” but having eaten at two (yes TWO) different places I can honestly say it’s the best place I’ve eaten in Ireland.
Now to be serious, the vegan options around Wexford/Wicklow of an evening aren’t great from what I can see. Plenty of places have “an option” (see vegetable curry) but The Brass Fox has a separate vegan menu. It would be amazing if more places put this effort in and as a visitor I don’t just mean places in Ireland, it applies to most of the UK too. I tried the Doirty Burger and Onion Rings, and was not disappointed. Some of, if not the best Onion Rings I’ve ever had. The only thing possibly missing was an option of some vegan cheese on the burger. A minor inconvenience really given that the options excelled beyond most other places.
Plus the music playing in the background was awesome. I don’t know if Portishead, Zero7 and such are always playing, but I’m going to imagine they are. And if you don’t like them then it’s not loud enough to be a hindrance at all.
Finally, the service was rapid, the place had a great vibe/look, it was clean and the staff were all lovely.
Will definitely come back. Probably in a month when I’m next in the area.
