The Castle in Trim

On a family day out we called in for food after a tour of Trim Castle. Staff were lovely, place very clean and food was tasty! The fresh cod and chips were delicious.

Brought a large group of 15 here and the staff handled us quickly and stayed friendly the whole time. Most of us went with the fish and chips and it hit the mark, perfect every time. Right across from Trim Castle, which makes it an ideal grab-and-go spot. We skipped sitting inside since it was a bit stuffy, but that worked out great because there’s a nice grassy stretch and a little park with picnic tables right outside. Sat at the foot of the castle with a good breeze and it made the whole meal. Highly recommend for takeaway, especially if the weather’s on your side.
