The Church Bar & Restaurant in Dublin

The bar-restaurant is set in a former church from the early 1700s, the only surviving Baroque-style building in Dublin, blending historic charm with a modern vibe. There is a perfect occasional traditional Irish step dance. Food was decent overall. The garlic butter prawns starter and fried chicken burger were good, and the lamb was tender though slightly gamey. Worth a visit for the setting and experience.

A dreamlike place, an old church converted into a pub with its organ, stained-glass windows and all the charm of a place of worship, and the service was very friendly!!

Just stopped by for a beer. Exceptional setting. A must-see.

Having a drink is OK, but a reservation is required for food. The atmosphere is decent, but there's no music, not even Christmas music, which is a shame. You have to go to the bar to order, even if you're seated there. An unusual place. Pint of Guinness €8

Very loud, diffucult to speak to people at the table. When we came it was so loud that we had to shout the name on the reservation. We had the table from 17.30 - 19.30 so it was not late in the evening. It was actually better when the life music started just before 19.00. The music was lovely, Irish folk music and 2 irish dancers. The food was decent, we had planned to order the steaks. However due to the noise we did not want to enjoy expensive meals there. We had Fish&Chips and Today specials. Do not get me wrong, this place is interesting - but more for fun than to enjoy fine food.

Dropped in for a drink, and the service from Keira was exceptional- first class!

Lovely place with great workers. However, the food was mid. Overall, the price is okay. My recommendation: go there only for drinks.
