Great pub friendly atmosphere with great food. Well worth a visit but not cheap.

My partner and I had 3 courses plus snacks, wine and cocktails here for the first time yesterday evening. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with smiles and warmth. All staff we encountered were so nice and efficient. We were never left waiting long and the food was always hot. The food was also absolutely delicious! Every single dish we ordered was just fantastic. It was a good bit out of our way to get here but will I be back? 100% I will! It was worth the drive and every penny. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful night.

Stopped by for a quick bit. Place was chilly but not crowded. Food was good. Large portions. We weren't offered anything to drink - so, that was some lost revenue. Would go back again. Service was quick & friendly

Delicious food and very friendly staff and atmosphere. 5 star service

The food is great but the portion sizes really need to be a bit bigger for what they charge. Additionally the 12.5% service charge on even an individuals make the prices go from high to crazy. At that point you're basically charging 8 euro for chips, which is untenable. I'm happy to tip but please let me decide the amount without the pressure, just leaves a bad taste in the mouth as only certain types of places seem to do this.

Stayed two nights, ate at the pub one night and restaurant one night. Food was exceptional. Room was nice, cozy, well decorated, great shower.

Went here for lunch three adults two teens. Food was great, pork belly, roasted aubergine and roast cod , flavour great, portion size good. Surroundings in restaurant were pleasant and bright. We were brought to our table which was not level and moving, we were informed it was not the legs but the table top. Offered another table but that was near bar area, so stuck with what we got. It amazes me how many places suffer with this and how irritating it is for diners, if you know about it, fix it. I would say service was mixed, seemed to be a more senior person who took our order, she didn't wear the usual uniform of the other staff and had a very cold demeanour, rest of staff were lovely. Chairs were not overly comfortable and one was on its way to breaking, a heavier person and you have problems, so we pointed it out as we were leaving, the manager promised to "put his best man on it"! Finally, a mandatory 12.5% service fee/gratuity is frankly awful and it applies to all tables. Allow the customer to decide that, not on at all. It's a pity, as the food is great, orange and almond cake for dessert was out of this world, but dining out is about the whole experience.

Hadn't been here for a few years. Food was excellent.Staff friendly and accommodating. No problem catering for special dietary requirements. We will return
