What a wonderful little gem of a bar. As a Guinness drinker, the stout here was 1st class. My son, daughter and myself try to visit as many bars as we can when we visit Dublin on a day out. I would be quite happy to spend a few hours here, enjoying the pints and atmosphere.

Famous place with fantastic Guinness. The atmosphere is as genuine as it gets and it’s super cozy. Comes across as everyone’s neighborhood bar. I’d love to live nearby to this place!

Excellent hospitality and pint. I dropped in one cool afternoon for a pint as an Australian tourist. The two sisters behind the bar were very friendly and even took the time to give me a map and detail numerous places to visit. They were extremely thorough, kind and great craic. I appreciated their hospitality. One of those friendly pubs with friendly locals. Thanks, ladies. Recommend %100

13/11/2024: Great bar with some really interesting cocktails. The service was impeccable as well. We will definitely go back the next time we're in Dublin. I'd recommend making reservations.
13/11/2024: 1661 is not a good bar. In terms of staff knowledge and hospitality it’s the best experience in Ireland. In terms of quality of product and innovation it’s the best bar in the world. It’s a fabulous bar.

28/10/2024: Really great atmosphere for a drink. But the food was only okay, especially for the price point. I wouldn’t come back for it, by any means. The staff were so hard to get attention from, didn’t check in on us and could barely even get them to pay. The spicy margarita wasn’t spicy so if you want a regular margarita order the spicy, it’s €2 cheaper. The cherry blossom was GORGEOUS. So was the Belfast coffee. The Go Figure was nail polish remover - steer clear.
21/10/2024: Fantastic Sunday lunch. Found this place after a quick google for the best Sunday lunch in Dublin. You can tell that the chefs take a pride in their work. Service was also excellent and very friendly. Roast beef was cooked perfectly and not overdone as so many other places do.
