The Curragower in Limerick

A great stop for lunch on our roadtrip. The summer salad with berries was excellent, a welcome change from the fried fish we’ve been eating. The seafood chowder was one of the best we’ve ever eaten. We ate up in the terrace area, great views.

Always great food and atmosphere! Great spot for a lunch or dinner.

I went there with my friends and it was my first time. I loved it. It's so clean, and the food was amazing. We were about 15 friends and all thr dishes ordered were perfect 👌 the view was amazing. I ordered chicken box and the portion was so fulfilling, I will definitely order it again. My sister ordered the beef box which was fine but I highly recommend the chicken one. The deserts were AMAZING 👏 🤩 😍 my friend ordered fish and it was so fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant and the service was excellent 👌 the staff were so friendly and helpful. I got apple juice and it was so good. My overall experience was great and the prices were reasonable as well.

Tried the special of the day and honestly, it was the best burger I’ve ever had. The double patty was incredibly juicy and full of flavour, paired with a bold cheese (possibly gorgonzola) and some cured ham – everything worked perfectly together. Absolutely amazing. Please consider adding it to the regular menu – I’d come back just for this burger!

Great food, every dish was amazingly good. The seafood chowder was delicious, and the chicken box was quite good. Desserts were also very good, from the cheesecake to the crumble.

Super pub convenient to Thomond Park. We booked so table ready when we arrived. Excellent service by people who take pride in their craft. Nice food well priced. We will return.

I think this restaurant is quite overrated. The vibe is nice and I’d give that 4 stars, but the food and service are only a 2 for me. I ordered the steak in rare, which was recommended to be served rare, but it came out almost well done. The beef was overcooked and dry. Compared to the photos on Instagram, it was quite disappointing — I probably should have sent it back. As for the chicken wings, they weren’t crispy or particularly special. I honestly don’t understand why they’re listed as a customer favourite. I’d also like to comment on the service. I had made a reservation, but was seated in a corner table that I wasn’t happy with. When I asked if I could move, the staff member said the restaurant was fully booked, even though there were empty tables that stayed unused for quite a while. She insisted they were reserved and mentioned that I hadn’t requested a specific table when booking. I didn’t want to argue further, so I just let it go. Overall, while the ambiance is lovely, I believe food quality and service are just as important.
