The Curragower in Limerick

5 star quality food at good price range. Excellent service. Well worth a visit.

I have been going to the Curraghower for years. It's a great pub, in a great location. Staff are friendly and professional; however, the food falls short. A less-than-average burger (which seemed to me to be frozen burgers that you could pick up in the frozen section of any supermarket) and chunky chips, many of which were too crispy to eat, no garnish, is not worth €23.

Fabulous experience with a big family group , the staff were amazing especially the lad waiter today which unfortunately didn’t get his name but extremely helpful. The food was lovely and the cocktails amazing!!!

I had my first date with my boyfriend and we returned this year for our anniversary. Did not disappoint in both times. Food is excellent, staff is friendly, and service is quick. It's always busy and booking is recommended. We'll be coming back every year for our anniversary 😊

Nice place especially if you're sitting at the terrace. The food, trying to do different kind of dining, but I'd say its not achieved completely. The seafood chowder is delucious, main dishes were just ok...the proportion of the complements is not adequate. Parsnip pure with the chicken enough for one bite. It results to have a dry dish. Fish was OK, just a bit dry/overcooked.

I first visited the Curragower on Monday and had the leek risotto, which was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed it so much that when I found myself back in Limerick on Friday before a show at the Belltable, I decided to return for an early dinner — and ordered the leek risotto again. It was every bit as good the second time. My server on Friday was Clara, who was excellent. When I asked her to recommend a dessert, she suggested the sticky toffee pudding, saying it was one of her favourites and that I really couldn’t go wrong with it. She was absolutely right — it was genuinely the best sticky toffee pudding I have ever had. One small detail also really stood out to me about Clara’s service. Before she even finished taking my dessert order, she made a point of telling me that it contained pecans and checking that I didn’t have a nut allergy. I don’t, but I thought it was incredibly thoughtful and a great example of attentive service. Between the fantastic food, genuinely lovely service and the views across the Shannon towards King John’s Castle, the setting is really the icing on the cake. Two visits in one week, and I would very happily go back again. Highly recommended.

Best steak sandwich I've ever had!! Chicken Caesar salad was delicious as well and chicken was juicy. Service was also amazing and the upstairs area has a cute vibe to it!!

Gorgeous meal, I go the raspberry ripple cocktail which was a genuine 10/10. Portions are large so I’d always share a starter or dessert.
