Wonderfull local pub next to the camping site - we had a quick pizza and a few drinks last week. As we were leaving we asked the owner for an umbrella as it started to rain. We forgotten to bring it back on the next day and realized it only about 200km away from the site 🤦‍♂️ Hope the new umbrella we ordered arrived by now. Thanks again for your hospitality and all the best in the future for you and of course the Liverpool F.C. 🙌

What a cool little spot. Beautifully situated by a little river. Very well kept, awesome staff and the crack was mighty as they say! Dogs, kids and ducks all welcomed. If you are in the area dont miss this top spot

Castle Grove Country House Hotel

14/02/2026: A wonderful place to stay, relax, and get away. The food is excellent, and the customer service is great I will definitely be back
05/01/2026: This beautiful country house is just 10 minutes away from Letterkenny situated on the lake . The views are magnificent and the surrounding area is definitely worth checking out. Just to be clear, this is a traditional Irish country house with open fires , cozy atmosphere and great hospitality. There is plenty of comfortable seating areas throughout the house and lots of reading materials. The service is great, people are friendly and you will feel welcomed. Make sure you book your dinner, you won't be disappointed. A perfect place to get away from busy city life and just to relax.
