The Donnybrook in Dublin

Nice bar I have been there a few times the staff are very friendly the place has a nice atmosphere nice background music haven't eaten there but for a nice drink I'd pick there. If I'm in Donnybrook.

Quiet lunch, no one there, food was fine

I only had one beer, but the guys were super nice and cheerful. Nice atmosphere.

I visited recently and had some very good Guinness. I also decided to eat here. I ordered the lasagna. It was very poor. It was dried out, had very little beef , the pasta layer was hard and stodgy and it had too much melted cheese. I picked around it but only ate a quarter of it. The bar is beautiful but I was surprised how quiet it was. Maybe a better quality offer on food might help the

The Morehampton is a beautiful pub with great food and a brilliant atmosphere. However, 5 stars doesn't do it justice for what Gareth, the manager, did for my mother. In talking to one another, Gareth found out that my mother was receiving cancer treatment and had just bought her wig. Gareth went out of his way to tell my mother how beautiful she looked, presented her with a gift and when it was time to leave, hugged her and walked her out. This is more than service. This is a beautiful act of kindness that touched my mother deeply and made a difficult day a memorable. Thank you Gareth from Adrienne and the Kerins family.

Lovely pub in Donnybrook, recommend.

The food tasted good and the wait time wasn't too long, but the service left a little to be desired. We ordered the chicken and gruyere croquettes, and a beef burger with no bacon and veg instead of fries. The burger came with bacon and a salad. We cut the burger in half before realizing there was bacon on it, so we sent it back. The burger came out without bacon but it was the same burger as it had been cut in half. If there was an allergy or a religious reason not to have bacon, it would have been completely inappropriate to bring out the same burger. In this instance it was none of those reasons so it was eaten. The bathrooms were also quite dirty and the hand dryer in the ladies was hanging off the wall. I've visited this bar on other occasions without any complaint, so it might have been a one off situation.

This pub is a more contemporary. The front area is open and has lots of natural light. On the other side of the bar is the darker “snug” type pub that I usually enjoy. The menu is large so anyone should be able to find something to eat here. The staff was very nice with good service.

The ladies toilets are stained, toilet seats do not fit properly and have no soap. The hand dryer does not work. A shame as I am local and it is things like this that will make me go elsewhere.

Highly recommend. This place is fantastic.
