The Dough Box in Bray

Tried their pizza both take away and dining-in. Although it looks good, I think that the quality is just average. Ingredients combination is okay but the dough is too chewy. As a wood-fire place it should be nice and crunchy outside and soft insight. I’d love to see improvements and more vegetarian options… we had to ask to remove the pancetta from the truffle shuffle to make a second vegetarian option. Also ordered rosemary and Parmigiano potatoes and got fries instead which weren’t really nice and Parmigiano was nearly invisible.

You should definitely try the pizzas from The Dough Box. To say delicious is to say nothing, it’s simply marvellous ☺️

I had friends in at very short notice recently - no time to prepare any food - so I ordered pizzas based on a random Google search. Delivery was ahead of schedule and pizzas were excellent (in fact they were so good my guests were asking for more). Five star rating for great service and great simple but delicious food.

I'm Italian, on holiday here, along the sea, a wonderful view, kind and helpful staff, clean place, excellent food, really excellent. It's all worth it, even affordable prices, restaurant for 5. Pretty clean bathroom.
