Amazing place with a very warm welcome. Full of characters and stories. Will be going back again as soon as I can just to see the people again and share some Guinneses with them (the best I had during my stay). No food but we were allowed to bring some in from the chippy across the road.

06/09/2025: Iskender Turkish Kebabs on Tslbot Street is an absolute gem! The doner was fantastic — a generous portion of perfectly seasoned meat that really hits the spot. Yes, it’s a bit on the expensive side, but that’s pretty much par for the course when it comes to Dublin kebab prices. The shop itself is quite small, making it ideal for takeaway, though there are just a few seats if you want to sit in. Overall, great quality, quick service, and tasty food. I’ll definitely be back for a quick meal again
