Exceptional food and service. We had a large group for a birthday party and the staff here couldn't do enough for us. Massive thanks in particular to Fiona for looking after us. We had the best evening 👌 Thanks team!!

It was one of the best steaks I have had in a very long time with very friendly and professional service to back it all up!

Great Food, Service was exceptional too! Highly recommend the steak and also the roast chicken. We shared the salted caramel donuts which were gorgeous with the chocolate ganache. Passionfruit Martini was also enjoyed by my girlfriend!

The food is fresh and extremely high quality. I had scallops and the chateaubriand, absolutely brilliant. Service was excellent, very friendly staff who made us feel very welcome.

I recently dined at The Fatted Calf, and I have to say it was one of the finest meals I've ever had. I ordered a chicken dish paired with fregola and sun-dried tomatoes, and the flavors were absolutely exquisite. The combination of the tender chicken and the richness of the sun-dried tomatoes over the fregola was perfectly balanced, and each bite was a delight. What made the experience even more special was meeting the owner, Fiona. She was incredibly humble and welcoming, which speaks volumes about the warmth and character of the restaurant. The staff were equally attentive and friendly, making sure every detail was taken care of without being overbearing. The Fatted Calf is a gem of a restaurant—wonderful food, genuine hospitality, and an overall unforgettable dining experience. I can’t wait to return!

Nydelig mat, hyggelig betjening og svært barnevennlig. Ettåringen fikk sin egen versjon av gourmet baby bowl. Litt trangt, og det tok litt tid før maten kom på bordet, men totalt sett synes jeg opplevelsen var verdt 5 stjerner. Prisnivået er også greit.

Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa. No conocíamos el lugar y nos guiamos por esta aplicación y el resultado fue mejor de lo esperado. Para empezar el trato de bienvenida fue una grandísima sonrisa sincera y un trato muy cercano de la que parecía ser la regente del restaurante. Sólo eso ya consigue que te relajes y confies en que ahí te van a tratar bien. Al darse cuenta de que éramos turistas españoles vino a atendernos una joven que hablaba nuestro idioma lo que, aún siendo innecesario, es un detalle que agradecimos, sobre todo yo que no hablo nada bien inglés. Esta chica nos explicó los platos y nos recomendó muy bien de entre ellos. Escogimos carne a la brasa que nos presentaron en el punto pedido. Era plato de dos pero nos hicieron el favor de hacer uno con cantidad para 3 ya que íbamos con 2 niños y consideramos que sería demasiado. Otros sitios no lo hacen, y dice mucho del cuidado que ponen en sus clientes. El sabor y la ternura de la carne eran INCREIBLES y el plato con el acompañamiento una exquisitez. Fue muy abundante, una pena que nos dejásemos algo. No pudimos pedir vino por tener que conducir ya que sería el perfecto acompañamiento, aunque yo sí probé una fabulosa cerveza de la zona. El precio muy adecuado, nada caro para la buenísima experiencia que tuvimos. He de decir que somos españoles de Asturias, una región que si de algo sabe es de comer buena carne :> Desde luego que el día que volvamos a esta preciosa ciudad volveremos. ¡¡Lo recomendamos encarecidamente!!
