Nice auld pub! I remember though I was there one evening, I asked the barman could I borrow a pen and he was real short and rude and downright horrible with me and said ‘no’. I’d say the sad old sop has prob left or been fired since!

There is no separate review option for the hotel part but stayed there. Check in was quite simple, went to the bar, gave our name and got the cards. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, smart TV and our towels got changed everyday. We were worried about the noise from the bar but did not hear a single thing. On the bar side. No food but had some crips available. Busy quit early on the day until 10 pm or so. The Guinness served there were very good. Decoration was fun and the staff were nice.

The Ferryman is easily the nicest pub east of the Samuel Beckett Bridge, but the relitively new large pane windows rob it if quite a bit of its old charm. Its a pub I still enjoy, but it also suffers quite a bit from overcrowding. Still, I'd strongly reccommend it!

19/10/2025: My mother and I stayed at The Green Hotel for two nights and it was really nice. The room was quiet, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the staff was beyond amazing! We had a situation and needed help. The staff and manager jumped into action quickly to help, and continued to help until the situation was resolved. They were amazing, and so very kind! In addition to the friendly staff, the hotel location was really good. Close to the green line, shops, restaurants, and was within walking distance to everything. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay at The Green Hotel again next time we’re in Dublin.
17/10/2025: Does not have any on site parking! I feel this is something that is very important for others to know when booking this hotel
