Gorgeous location. Beautiful aesthetic and really well thought out eating venue. Food was fresh, well presented and at a good price. Staff were friendly and helpful even though it was busy. Will definitely be returning!

A very nice place, everything is well organized. There's a queue when you arrive if you want to eat inside, like we did in the middle of December. You can tell the staff are experienced; everything is well done, and the food is really very good.

Great spot, really excellent food, and the whole team there work so hard to produce quality dishes and good coffee. At peak times this place has a queue out the door, we arrived at peak time today and waited for a table for nearly 40mins, but the staff were really great and did a great job of managing our expectations for the wait time...plus there is a beach to mess around on right in front of the place, and tables outside for the hardy (if its winter)...they also are much faster with takeaway too. The wait was worth it, good portions of delicious fish, crab, chips, and salad. We got coffee to go which was nice, and took away some lovely desserts as well. Lovely people and good food keeps us coming back . Thank you, Fish Basket Crew!

Lovel place, great food, friendly staff and stunning location. We have eaten here and installed our stretch tents a number of times.

Great place to go before or after spending some time on the Long Strand or doing the loop walk up to the High Cross. Lovely food, good service, busy popular spot! Great initiative by the owner to leave out buckets and pickers for people to pick rubbish from the beach and then rewards them with hot chocolates or coffees..

My wife and I happened upon this place earlier this year while on a trip around West Cork. It was February and lots of locals were stopping there for lunch. It was the best fish and chips I have ever had (and I've had a few!). Top quality, so fresh, and perfectly cooked. We took away some sausage rolls as well and these were also delicious and of the same high quality. Hats off to all involved with this business!
