The Forge in Maigh cuilinn

I wasn't sure if it was popular or the only place open. A bit overpriced for ordinary food. Staff were young and a bit matter of fact.

Always lovely food. Prepare for a long wait most times which is a let down for here unfortunately.

Got the fish and chips it was ok salad was kind weird, but the fish was super nice, chips were a little burnt, but our waiter/bartender was super lovely, absolutely made our day, he was super nice and friendly I didn't catch his name but he was on "Canadian bartenders team" (he'll know what I mean), gave us the chips for free cause they did look kinda funky which was really nice. lovely guy.

Looked on Google maps for a place we hadn't been before and the forge looked just up our street even though it was 30 miles away 😀. Food was decent and plentiful service was good but place was freezing. Would definitely recommend in the warmer weather 👌
