The Gateway Lodge,Donegal Town in Donegal

The Gateway Lodge is a fantastic place to stay in Donegal it's a 5min walk to the town centre it has lovely views great staff they are so helpful I can't praise them enough, overall a great location and great value for money

Fantastic omelette here for breakfast ,and the coffee is always beautiful. Fantastic service, the staff are so friendly and the place is decorated beautifully for Christmas.

The staff is very pleasant and polite, breakfast is only €12, and it's worth it. The bed in the room is very large and comfortable, the room is clean, there's a small kettle with tea and coffee, and a hairdryer. The hotel is 5 minutes' walk from the center.

Great hotel! Rooms were clean and seemed to have been updated recently. The breakfast was amazing and really well presented (see photos). Location was an easy 5 minute walk to restaurants and bars / center of town. Would stay here again.

Staff at the Gateway was wonderful and friendly, and breakfast was excellent. Our room was good, with a nice comfy bed, but it was warm. We had to open the window, and in doing so were woken up by the lads coming home around 2am. We also heard a couple getting freaky in the next room, so not the quietest sleep. Overall, a very decent stay!

Lovely room very quite, easy walk to town centre maybe 7 minutes, terrific breakfast, super clean. Highly recommend.
