I stayed here in May 2026 and is a hidden gem in the middle of everything. Very quiet, safe and comfortable. Everything you want to see and do in Dublin is within walking distance. They have a restaurant and bar within the hotel. A grocery store just around the corner and numerous restaurants. I would highly recommend.

An amazing stay! It was our first time in Dublin and the staff made you feel welcome almost immediately! We arrived at the hotel in the morning and knew that there may not be any rooms available yet, they still checked and apologized when there weren't any rooms. They happily took our bags so we can go sight see in the meantime. We went to sight see around the area and since this hotel is in such a great location, you can walk everywhere. Check in is usually at 3 but when they had a room available at 2 PM they called us and had our bags all ready in the room when we arrived. Each time we talked with them, they mentioned that they can help us find anything should we need it. Above and beyond helpful, friendly service. I would stay at this hotel every time, it really made us want to come back. The bathrooms are extremely clean, the water pressure is AMAZING, and shower amenities were great! The beds are comfortable, very clean. Honestly not a single complaint to be made, this is a great hotel. We had debated against the Mercantile and the Grafton, we walked by the area where the Mercantile is located and were so glad we chose the Grafton Hotel. It is in an area that is not overly crowded on the streets and extremely quiet for an area by the uni and so many bars. Lots to do in the area and you can venture out to more if you wish. We stayed at a 4 star hotel in London and it does NOT compare to the service, hotel itself, and location of the Grafton Hotel. Next time I would make a longer trip in Ireland, fly out and maybe do a day trip to London(if we wanted), and do day trips to different parts of Ireland instead. But always make sure to stay at the Grafton Hotel. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.

Located in the city center, this room offers excellent value for money. It features a clean and spacious bathroom ,room with big windows faces both streets. Room 219 is best location, We just want to find a hotel nearby to Guinness store house , Extremely high cost performance. The breakfast was plentiful and very fresh, and the staff were very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Grafton for a week with our 9 yr old grandson In the family room which has bunk beds and a king bed. It was perfect. The room was cleaned every day usually in the morning. The staff at the hotel are absolutely outstanding from the team at the front desk to the team in the restaurant and bar. The Concierge, Noel, is Exactly what you would hope a concierge would be! He’s fun and he has a boatload of ideas for sightseeing and dining out. The hotel is perfectly located near shops and walkable to almost all of the restaurants while not in a noisy area. Special mention to Pat, our taxi driver, whom the hotel set up for us as a pick up at the airport and other destinations. Also, Lucy, Nathalia, Gary, Nichol, Liliana, Sofia, and I know that I missed some, but a huge shoutout to these awesome people who made our stay a 5* one! Highly recommend!!

You cannot beat the location of The Grafton Hotel. Loved staying here. It was absolutely gorgeous, safe, quiet, clean, and had delicious food/breakfast buffet. An overall lovely experience! We had a great view from the hotel room as well of the street and buildings nearby that was beautiful during sunset/sunrise. I wish we never had to leave Dublin and we will be staying here when we come back.

I have nothing but praise for this hotel. From the moment I requested airport transfers and they sent Patrick Harrison, an angel behind the wheel, to the immediate response from housekeeping whenever I needed concierge or front desk services, the hotel was fantastic. The room met my expectations perfectly in terms of location, was spotless, and had everything I needed: a kettle, plenty of tea and coffee, chocolates, a refrigerator, and a safe. The staff was attentive, warm, and professional. When I arrived at the airport, the airline had not checked my suitcase, and Patrick (the taxi driver) waited for me until the situation was resolved. I was stressed, and his empathy and solidarity comforted me. As he assisted me until the check-in, waiting for me, he made sure I was better from my stressful situation. The hotel atmosphere is very peaceful; you can sleep very well. The concierges catered for my every need, from a vase of flowers and taxis for various activities to excellent recommendations for events and restaurants. Grafton team, you rock! I will return to Dublin soon and this is the place for me to be, I do not need to look again. Besides all the staff, which is especially important, the location is excellent, restaurants, theater, shopping centers, you can walk to the historical places, and in all of them I had exceptionally good experiences with the people who provide services.

We stayed at The Grafton for the first time last weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent in a lively and central part of Dublin. Added bonus is that it is only a couple of minutes walk to two of our favourite pubs, The Long Hall and Grogans. Our room was clean and the hotel facilities are of a high standard. The bar and restaurant are modern and lively, and the breakfast was very good. The only slight negative for us was that we found the pillows uncomfortable. The staff are all so friendly at the Grafton, but a special shoutout to Gary and Noel who made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived, and looked after us any time we were around the lobby. Kindness goes a long way in life and these gentlemen are a real credit to the hotel! Looking forward to our next stay at Christmas. P&H.
