The Granary Gastro Pub in Athlone

Service good but that’s partly because the place was empty. The two main lunch options on their a la carte menu are salads and sandwiches and they do a mediocre effort of both. I can’t see this place surviving unless they focus on getting better suppliers, reduce their menu to items to more tastier / wholesome options.

Good food but could be served a little hotter

Called into The Granary around 6pm on Sat 16th Sept 23. Apparently just missed the rush & it was nice & quiet. Food was excellent, 2 huge portions of Haddock & chips, Roast turkey & a Chicken curry. Service was quick & efficient. Staff very friendly.

Great food and first class service

Food was good but overall its gone downhill since its no longer a proper functioning hotel. Bar very quiet my last 2 visits
