The Great Wood in Dublin

It's alright. It's not fine dining. It's middle of the road, better than fast food but not haute cuisine. Can't complain because of the prices which are very reasonable. I ordered one of the 'gourmet' burger options. Definitely a better burger than say McDonalds but the meat tasted like it must have been a frozen burger patty. I wouldn't describe it as gourmet. I could make a better burger by buying mince from a butcher etc. and it would taste better. I know what Wetherspooons offers is casual dining and drink offer with prices to match so can't complain really. If I was going again I would probably try the curries, pastas or pizza. If I want a good steak or a burger I'd probably just go to the butcher and cook myself.

I love this place so much. The first time I visited here, I didn’t quite enjoy the food but I decided to give it another try. My boyfriend and I now call this our spot. The prices for cocktails are unbelievably cheap which gives me an opportunity to try different things while styling getting drunk 😉. I love the bbq pizza as well. Lovely atmosphere also.

Had a great experience at Wetherspoon in Blanchardstown. The place is spacious with a lively atmosphere, making it perfect for a casual meal or drinks with friends. The menu is extensive and very reasonably priced, especially for the quality and portion sizes. I enjoyed the Irish breakfast, a pitcher drink, and pizzas. Overall, a reliable spot for affordable food and drinks! Would recommend it for anyone

Popped in for a quick pint before seeing the missus after work. My review may be skewed given this was my first draught in years but the punk on draught was amazing. For people who visit here you probably need to temper your expectations and bit. Nowhere else is offering these prices , it's not a restaurant so stop holding the food to the standard of one. Taking pictures of staff and posting them on here because you're unhappy with the cheapest in Ireland highlight the real problem , which is you. Have some respect for hospitality staff when they're run off their feet so you can have your 2 euro pint and complain about a steak or burger that's genuinely cheaper than making it yourself.

Amazing! I love the Wetherspoon franchises, and this one is not different. The prices are modest and fair, the food is nice, the drinks are good, the service is fast, the environment is pleasant for a group gathering, and I don't have anything bad to say about it.

Price range are all affordable. We went there for breakfast. A lot of options. Its the cheapest breakfast place I ever been too, aside from fast foods. Will defo go back!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and price of the small breakfast it was enhanced by the flavour of the Smokey bacon which was extra for only 2 euros
