The Green Barn in

eight of us were on the way home from the Shackleton Experience (Fab) and had lunch here. it's outstanding amazing room, wonderful service and staff and the food is stunning.

Just would like to share my experience in Green barn restaurant beautiful place close to the motorway And the food Amazing everyone must try nice and fresh vegetables from the Garden earthing fresh cook nice flavour really enjoyable place with family everyone must go and enjoy the delicious food Staff was so nice Thank you for everything I will definitely recommend all my friends And I will come back Thanks Nazim.

What a lovely place. The food was excellent but unfortunately the service was a bit slow.

We went for a breakfast and it was lovely. Food was fresh and tasty. There was some of spinach, sourdough bread and beetroot in all our dishes. Waiter was very friendly and professional . We would go back back.

We got bread and cakes there, the cakes were quite mediocre but the staff were so friendly and it feels very cozy and homely. The gardens were not much to look at in the winter. We would definitely go in the summer for the full experience.

After our wedding at Kilkea Castle, we were so lucky to celebrate the next day at The Green Barn and it was absolutely perfect. From the start, working with James—the owner and our main point of contact—was a joy. He was responsive, welcoming, and made coordinating everything effortless, so we could focus on enjoying the day with our friends and family. Having the venue all to ourselves made it feel intimate and relaxed. Guests loved being able to wander the beautiful garden grounds, gather around the firepits, and sit in cozy spots to chat and mingle. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of charm. The cocktails and the food were nothing short of amazing. Everything was fresh, vibrant, and garden-to-table delicious—our guests kept raving about the flavors. It really felt like a celebration made for enjoying good company, stunning surroundings, and incredible food. Overall, The Green Barn gave us the perfect way to extend our wedding festivities. Between the beautiful grounds, the firepits, the cozy seating areas, and James’s thoughtful coordination, it was a day our friends and family will never forget. We couldn’t recommend it more for anyone looking for a relaxed, beautiful, and unforgettable celebration.
