With the great weather my partner decided to cross the road (Abbey Court) for a pint after finishing work at 3pm (wfh)he found the place very friendly and the Guinness was great and reasonably priced. I joined him later and have to say the atmosphere and service was superb. Delighted we can now go for a drink close to home together. Thank you for great service and welcoming my Swiss/ Cork partner 😅

Nice pub, ace Guinness, super warm and dangerously cosy. Reasonable prices considering the climate. Loads of parking - although I was on foot.

The only thing is it can get a bit crowded when matches are on and not many liquers which I understand but otherwise nice friendly pub and when the weather is good enough to sit outside in the pods the manageress/owner supplies you with cushions and blankets well worth a visit.

23/06/2025: Cooks Lane Cafe in Ennis is an absolute gem for lunch! Tucked away down a charming alley off the main road, its cozy atmosphere is immediately inviting. The food was simply exceptional – truly fresh ingredients prepared to perfection, with ideal portion sizes. Owner Paul's friendly demeanor and personal attention to our meals made the experience even better. I highly recommend Cooks Lane Cafe for a delightful breakfast or lunch!
09/06/2025: Nice food and coffee. Felt awkward when there was food on the cutlery given to us. Staff quickly rectified the issue. Was busy and hard to get staff's attention.
