The Happy Cup Café in Oldcastle

Lovely spot and great coffee stsff could not do enough

Very welcoming friendly staff. Very attentive and efficient floor staff. Comfortable seating and tables. Clean restrooms. Relaxed atmosphere with low music in the background and the buz of people having a chat. Nice menu with a good selection of dishes. My wife had the teriyaki beef rice bowl which was a large portion meal which she could not finish, it was very tasty, the beef was a little chewy but in a pleasant way. The beef chuck burger was very good with lots of gherkins, onions, cheese and crispy bacon. Very enjoyable. Once again I have to say the staff were very attentive. Will definitely revisit again soon.

Convenient in the centre of Oldcastle

Happened to be in beautiful Oldcastle on Friday and we were looking for some nice place to have lunch. I don’t remember seeing the Happy Cup Cafe before and what a surprise we were in for. The place was extremely busy as it was lunch time and after maybe ten or so minutes a young man had a table for us. Orders taken and a very short time later our lunch was served. We had soups and very well presented sandwiches, and everything was tasty, hot and delicious. The Happy Cup Café has a great continental style and feeling of joy about the place. It was wonderful to see the staff interacting with all the customers and you don’t get that often these days. It goes without mentioning if you put the right place anywhere and do the job well success will follow. I’m looking forward to another visit to Oldcastle later on in the summer and The Happy Cup Café is first on my list. Continued success to all involved.
