Did the Bridgeton style afternoon tea here. It was fab specially with the live piano music playing in the background. The pianist was really good. The only thing is, all senses were engaged except for maybe the sense of smell, maybe some sort of diffuser or something to add to the ambiance not that it smells bad or anything🙂. This is just my opinion.

Beautiful hotel with very spacious lobby. Friendly and attentive staff. My wife used the spa and was very impressed with it. We didn't eat in the restaurant but had a meal in the bar. It was very busy when we were there. The staff were pleasant but the food was just basic pub grub for twice the price. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

A great course that has different challenges as you make tour way around. Water hazards, really well positioned fairway and green side bukers, and very quick greens. Durning dry/ sunny spells play it like a links course landing short and running the ball up to the flag is the best option, Enjoy.

Excellent golf course with a wide variety of challenging holes. Very well kept. Good test of gold for all handicaps. Definitely worth a visit. Lovely well stocked Pro shop. Pity the driving range was closed. Good walk down to it. Lovely Open sandwich in the bar afterwards. Good friendly staff. A muat visit for golfers Definitely be back

The Thatch

30/06/2026: We had dinner at The Thatch with family who were down from Dublin, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. We enjoyed drinks in the bar beforehand, which had a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere. The décor is cosy and inviting, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. The homemade desserts were the perfect way to finish the meal and were enjoyed by everyone. We all left saying we'd definitely be back. A fantastic spot for a family get-together—highly recommended!
21/06/2026: Food and service were excellent,had the porchetta burger and the beef sizzler,both very nice,well priced menu with plenty of choice,quite spot
