The Horse & Hound, Delgany in Greystones

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food itself was not very good and lacked flavor, which was already a letdown. On top of that, the wait time for service was much longer than expected. When the food finally arrived, it was only lukewarm, which made the overall experience even worse.Given the quality of the food and the slow service, the prices felt overpriced and not justified I was hoping for much better, but I don’t think I would return based on this visit.

The staff were very helpful and kind.

Beautiful food and wonderful service, the dining room is so cosy when the fire is on. One small thing to note, the Sunday roast doesn't come with much potato. We added on a colcannon mash after it arrived and it was absolutely delicious. Would love to see it included in the original dish.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch in the bar - staff were very accommodating and welcoming of my mother in a wheelchair. Food was delicious and my pint of Guinness was great!! 😊

Perfect spot for an overnight if in the Wicklow area. Gorgeous bar, real fire, great Guinness & tasty food. The rooms are good for a short stay. It could only be improved if they served breakfast.

I am very lucky to have the Horse & Hound as my local. Kevin, Mark, Alan and all the team are the best! Food, atmosphere & pints are exceptional in the Horse. I had a birthday party there Saturday night and the team couldn’t have been more accomodating. Some of our quests also stayed in the rooms upstairs. Thanks Kevin & team

A lovely place located in Delgany. Parking facilities in adjoining carpark. A very small amount of parking on road if available. Accommodation available here but can't comment on that. Had a lovely meal. Really good selection. A lovely atmosphere and an open fire. The Staff were very nice and attentive. Service very good. We were informed there was going to be music but sadly couldn't avail of it but will be back. A good location. Close to a bus route. Well worth a visit.

The food, service and atmosphere at the Horse and Hound is always top-notch. Yesterday, four of us had the beef Sunday roast and it most certainly did not disappoint. Fresh, hearty, and full of flavour. We had some last minute changes to the group and nothing was too much hassle. Wednesday night trad Irish music sessions are brilliant. Great tunes, great atmosphere, and lovely people. The Horse and Hound has fast become one of my favourite spots. It’s a short drive off the N11 for anyone travelling on south or north and looking for a pit stop. The rooms are great too.
