The House Hotel in Galway

Close to everything in Galway and the staff was absolutely wonderful, greeting us cheerfully every morning and evening. Highly recommended!

Great location for Galway but 3* hotel at best. Room was very basic. Bed consisted of two singles joined together but different heights. Breakfast was poor l with limited fresh options. There was a selection of prepacked/made wraps and baps - they were rock hard from sitting under the heat lamps.

Had the sweetest two night stay at the House Hotel in Galway. Perfect location, a quick walk to Shop Street. We enjoyed our breakfast here every morning too. The service at this hotel is what deserves 10 stars! Shout out to FRAN! Once my husband and I were in Dublin, I made the unfortunate realization that I had mistakenly left a very important item in our hotel room safe. Fran went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure our items were delivered to us only a mere 5 hours later, in Dublin. Fran, you are literally a life saver! Management, give her a raise!! Frankly every person we encountered at this hotel was incredibly nice, and made our stay extra special. Thank you House Hotel!

Great hotel in the middle of Galway's lively Latin Quarter. Priced a little on the more expensive side, it offers nice, spacious rooms and good technical equipment (TV, WiFi, etc.). Breakfast is ok, plus point for ready-made provisions packages to take away.

Very happy with our stay at The House Hotel! Our room was one of the newer rooms on the ground floor, very nice and clean. Reception team was friendly. Breakfast was typical for a hotel breakfast. Great location for walking around the city. Staff provided a parking garage voucher to help decrease the price.

We booked a super deluxe room on the ground floor, which has the advantage of being in a good location and not very noisy. However, we can hear the loud sound of boiling water in the middle of the night, which affects our sleep. And the room wasn't cleaned thoroughly. AND there’s still water inside the Kettle with white dirt in it, obviously it was not cleaned. The shower gel bottle is completely empty . The experience is not very good. At this price, the hotel did not do a good job of cleaning, which disappointed me a bit. The Receptionist are very good

Lovely hotel, loved our upgrade to the one of the newly renovated rooms and excellent location! Was exactly what we were looking for. The breakfast had a selection of take away options, which would be ideal if you were about to jump onto a coach/boat tour for the day etc however I did feel it was quite wasteful of plastics and some food lasts better than others preprepared. Could you consider this being an option (to takeaway) rather than having everything prepared ready to go?

A 3 Star - Boutique hotel at best. The staff were very friendly & worked hard with what they had. It looks as if they are making some upgrades & improvements so are trying, just not there yet … location was great so they could do a lot with this hotel. Rooms mostly good though key cards not working and bath could use some attention. Check in process, and breakfast room layout in need of improvement. Overall not a bad place …

Location unparalleled. Rooms were solid, fantastic staff and tasty breakfast.

Good location and service. Good range for a breakfast if you stay for a few days. Room is in good condition, but furniture is a bit old and worn out
