The House Hotel in Galway

Good clean rooms, great location.

Great location and friendly staff but not an enjoyable stay. Damp smell in the hallways, worn out carpet in lift, tired looking bedroom lacked a cosy feel and the undersized glass door to the ensuite needs replacing with a proper door. We skipped the buffet breakfast as it did not look very appetising. I can only conclude that some rooms are better than others based on some of the positive reviews. As others have said it felt more like a hostel than a 4 star hotel. Needs a major face-lift before we would consider returning.

We spend two days at this hotel and it was amazing. Thais, the manager, was extremely accommodating and provided the best recommendations for Galway. This place is close to everything and the rooms are spacious. Would definitely come back!

Staff were lovely but I'm tired of hotels having no bathroom doors. You're paying enough for a room, at least you can have is privacy in a bathroom.

Rooms very clean and bathroom. In My experience great customer service, also excellent service for any small details and requests.

Hi was given a room on the ground floor, noise of traffic unbelievable. Got a change of room next day , ground floor should never be given to anyone. Breakfast should be warmer, great location staff brilliant 👏 hotel very clean. Would recommend it but don't take a room on the ground floor.

3 star as we given room 119 on the ground floor it's not suitable as a bedroom very very noisy from street traffic we moved & the 2nd room was excellent Staff & location excellent 👍 also.

We had a wonderful stay at The House Hotel in Galway! The hotel itself is lovely, but what truly made our experience special was the warm reception from Thaisy. She was incredibly kind and gave us great tips on local restaurants and things to do, which made our trip even better. We’ll definitely choose The House Hotel every time we visit Galway!
