The House Hotel in Galway

Excellent location right in the Latin Quarter and near everything. Comfortable king beds and well appointed rooms. Fabulous breakfast included every morning.

Nice good clean hotel. Nothing over the top. Good front desk service. Average breakfast. Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Just fair bathrooms.

Location, staff, breakfast, cleanliness... Everything is there. Really a nice establishment for a stay in Ireland. I highly recommend.

Excellent location, wonderful management, our room had an American electrical outlet at the desk.

This was a great find for our last minute stay! The location couldn’t be better - we were able to walk back from the bars in just a couple of minutes at night. The concierge who checked us in was super friendly but not in a fake hotel kind of way. He recommended some places for us to have a casual dinner and listen to some live music. The room itself was more than adequate. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet - we didn’t hear noise from any other guests and the noise from the street was almost non-existent. The real MVP though, was the shower. Might be the best shower I’ve ever had in my life. The water pressure was crazy good. Overall, a very successful stay and we would book this place again in a heartbeat. Now, on to Sligo!

This hotel is is an excellent location. The lobby was nice. parking was at a garage two blocks away. Parking to drop off luggage was difficult at best. Our room was small with dirty carpet. The bed had no mattress pad, only a flat sheet over the bare mattress. Our room had no USB ports. The staff in the hotel were very nice. The buffet breakfast in the morning was good.

Couldn't say enough great things about our stay at the House Hotel. The location is great, just a couple blocks walk to the "long walk" and high street with the various bars and music, but away from the noise and crowds that come with them. Our room was well lit with big windows, and had many USB port outlets built into the wall, making it easy to keep our devices charged without the need for a power adapter. We also really liked that the room had a bathtub with a "rainfall" showerhead. The staff were all wonderful, friendly, and accommodating. My wife caught a cold while we were traveling, and everyone was wonderful about keeping us supplied with tea and etc. Jenny in particular was great, I really appreciated her giving great suggestions on places to eat and catch live music, and even helped me find a drug store to get my wife cold medicine. Breakfast each morning was great, very filling with many delicious options, perfect for getting us started on long days on walking, touristing, and exploring Galway. We hope to come back to Galway and the House Hotel soon!

Quiet and casual space right in the centre. Love the casual reception area to meet and eat. Parking close by and cheap deal with Hynes Carpark

Close to everything in Galway and the staff was absolutely wonderful, greeting us cheerfully every morning and evening. Highly recommended!

Great location for Galway but 3* hotel at best. Room was very basic. Bed consisted of two singles joined together but different heights. Breakfast was poor l with limited fresh options. There was a selection of prepacked/made wraps and baps - they were rock hard from sitting under the heat lamps.
