The House Hotel in Galway

We had a wonderful stay at The House Hotel in Galway! The hotel itself is lovely, but what truly made our experience special was the warm reception from Thaisy. She was incredibly kind and gave us great tips on local restaurants and things to do, which made our trip even better. We’ll definitely choose The House Hotel every time we visit Galway!

Very nice hotel,friendly staff, free breakfast options to eat there or to go, and in a good location to take advantage of Galway's shopping areas. Highly recommend it.

The location of The House Hotel was absolutely amazing - right in the heart of Galway, just steps away from shops, pubs, and restaurants. It was perfect for our group since everyone could come and go as they pleased. We loved being able to drop off our bags after shopping or pop back for a quick nap during the day. The staff were friendly enough, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine, nothing special, but it did the job. The only real downside was that the shower had cold water on our first day, but everything else went smoothly after that. Overall, a great stay mainly for the unbeatable location.

Nice, clean hotel with nice touches (steame for clothes, Nespresso coffee). Beds comfortable and breakfast good. Paige at the desk was particularly helpful and kind.

Location of hotel is ideal. Rooms were very dated and hallway had a very mouldy smell. The self service breakfast wasn’t up to par at all with very limited choice. Coffee served in takeaway cups not what is expected. We stayed two nights and went out for breakfast the second morning. Car parking was validated. Not the worst place I’ve stayed but could do with less carpets and a good deep clean.

Great locations, nice staff. Only a 4 star though because the cobwebs lining the hallways were a bit gross…

This review is for the 3 bedroom apartment. One room in the apartment has its own bathroom and the other two share a bathroom in the entry way. Each room has their own key card but the apartment has a physical key to get into the entry way. Our room was okay, the furniture in there was very cheap and or missing. One end table was gone with the table lamp on the ground and the other was very rickety. You will also have to deal with the street noise throughout the night. The hotel itself was great, and breakfast was good. The staff working the hotel was great as well. We just expected more from the apartment especially at a hotel this nice.

I am staying here at the Galway Races. Hnaisy was amazing support to us, nothing too much for her.
