I was here last nite Friday 5 th and the music was brilliant I'm here on holiday from Germany and I have to say Irish bars are the best The music was live a young attractive girl singing some very good songs I haven't heard in a few yrs but she was amazing I thoroughly enjoyed listening such a great atmosphere in the place as well ..well done 👍

Visited early one morning awaiting the history tour. And sat outside on a barrel drinking a Guiness and watched the world go by. Perfect spot. Inside the cellar is enchanting. Returned that evening to a comedy show upstairs and laughed so much it hurt. Best place ever. Coming back soon. Aid-o and the crew are awesome!

Me and the Mrs stopped in this quaint little pub while visiting Dublin for the day. We were looking to experience a traditional, local Irish pub. This place was spot on. Friendly barkeep served us quickly and was very happy to suggest a local ale that was not Guinness. We both had the Irish stew which tasted lovely and was a generous serving for the price. We then had a great conversation with the barkeep and one of his local patrons and enjoyed some photos with them. Truly some great gents here. Would highly recommend you try this place.

16/10/2025: Thank you to Luis at Valet. He went above and beyond accommodating us when we arrived at the hotel and we were running behind on our Book of Kells tour. People like Luis are quintessential when operating a hotel of this size and status.
19/08/2025: The location of the hotel is ideal. The hotel staff was very friendly and helped us whenever we needed. Trinity College is a 5 minute walk away.

12/09/2025: We booked a table of 12. The service is excellent! The food is really nice and high quality. The kids menu offers steak and the steak that arrived would hinestly suit an adult. The chips were a nice big size and not your usual skinny frozen ones that places use for kids. The kids burger was really big and looked delicious. My RIGATONI ALLA VODKA was really nice with generous squares of parmesan throughout. My soup of the day was really nice with a good piece of brown bread and butter. Dessert was nice and everybody was really happy with their food and the service. I picked this place for my birthday because a liunch I had previously was delicious and it was just a panini and soup. I will be back as it is a lovely place serving really nice food with a great service, thanks!
