We booked a table for 19:30 and didn’t get sat until 20:15 when we had reserved one for 19:30 that should have been empty waiting for us.

First time in the Ivy Dublin and it didn’t disappoint. The high standards set at the other Ivy restaurants I’ve visited were certainly not lost here. Staff were incredibly helpful when answering questions about the menu and the wine list, I always trust their recommendations to accompany my food.
Atmosphere was brilliant, Again felt as if no expenses were spared to make my dining experience feel special. I’ll certainly be back!

I've been twice now in the last few years and it continues to disappoint. The food is great, the kitchen is clearly very good but the front of house lets the restaurant down; missing orders, the wrong cutlery, water glasses instead of wine glasses: it all adds up to a shambolic service which really makes me wish that I had gone to one of the many other restaurants nearby.

Booked online for a table for 2 at 8:15, but when we arrive we’re asked to wait for one to become available. This is not what booking a table means. I expect one to be available - we booked. Of course, the only place to go is the bar. So the strategy is clear. The Ivy allows you to book a table, knowing it’s beyond capacity, but you can wait indefinitely and spend lots of extra money at the bar. Nice little earner! We wanted to eat, my partner was tired and ill, so we waited for 30 minutes perched at the bar, until a table for 4 people became available. Not impressed, won’t be back.

Lovely meal and atmosphere for our anniversary meal.
Vincent was our waiter, he was very attentive and chatty.
Food was great, really tasty and good that bang bang chicken is back on the menu.
