We went in yesterday at 7:00pm without a reservation but the lady at the reception was kind enough to squeeze us in around 7:45pm while we were having a bottle of wine by the bar.
Ordered the summer 3 courses set which is great value for money regarding the atmosphere, quality of food and exceptional service.
We were served by Andy last night, he is a star! The restaurant was obviously packed and with limited manpower, he was still able to maintain an exceptionally high standard of service not only to us and I could also see how he interacted with other customers too.
Thank you for the amazing night and we will come back again.

We had dinner for 5, and between us all explored much of the menu.
Our waiter could not have done more for us and was amazingly attentive.
The food was good but we all felt it was a little over priced.
It was a relatively busy Thursday evening but the atmosphere seemed a little low around the restaurant.
That said, we found the wine and cocktails to be good!

Had a very enjoyable lunch experience at the Ivy. Service was quick, the atmosphere great and the food was lovely. I had the chicken Milanese which was really tasty and a side of chips which were big and crispy. Will it’s on the pricier side, it’s definitely worth a visit.

Was met by hostess/maitre d who said it would be a 10 min wait at the bar ( it was 40 ) . As I couldn't see any beer taps i asked her do they serve beer . The response was to offer me a drinks menu , not having my glasses , I declined but asked her again if they served beer, I was told "im sure they do " . This seemed a bit vague so I asked again what I thought was a straight forward question. The answer was , im a receptionist not a waiter so I don't know what they serve. I thought maybe working there she might have an idea if the bar serves beer. Being tired and hungry we went to the bar and waited a long time to be seated and longer still for our food and any drinks we requested. The food was fine and staff seemed like they were trying their best but the service was very mediocre. Maybe short staff or high staff turn over leaving untrained staff to serve. It's slightly more expensive than other places serving similar food , which would mean your paying for the experience as well as the food . But when tbe experience is not so good , your sorry you came and are unlikely to return. It's not super expensive but just realy didn't enjoy the place, very average service, almost like a dinner pretending to be a restaurant. It's busy so maybe we are over fussy . ( They serve beer , E7 for a 330 ml bottle of peroni ) .

First time in Dublin and The Ivy gave us a wonderful evening! We were very well looked after and our dinner was made to feel very special by the staff. Thankyou in particular to Roberto and Barbaros who made an extra effort :)

An enjoyable experience. Food was lovely and beautifully presented. The house red was lovely and the service excellent. We had the two course lunch which had nice selections. The only downside was the £7.50 surcharge for the steak which I don’t think was justified.

Booked online for a table for 2 at 8:15, but when we arrive we’re asked to wait for one to become available. This is not what booking a table means. I expect one to be available - we booked. Of course, the only place to go is the bar. So the strategy is clear. The Ivy allows you to book a table, knowing it’s beyond capacity, but you can wait indefinitely and spend lots of extra money at the bar. Nice little earner! We wanted to eat, my partner was tired and ill, so we waited for 30 minutes perched at the bar, until a table for 4 people became available. Not impressed, won’t be back.
