Vegan dinner was the best I had in Dublin so far! Off the charts amazing service and food. The Vegan cheesedesse is a must!

Excellent. I hear that they also do an excellent Bloody Mary which I was not aware of. A reason to go back..

Booked in for 2. Were seated quickly even being early for our reservation. Food came fast and was wonderful. Very memorable meal, although my only complaint was that we felt as though the serving staff had forgotten us at some points throughout our experience. Refills took some time and when we asked for dessert menus they didn’t arrive until we had to ask again. It was late enough and quiet so we thought we would get looked after very well. When leaving we waited at the door to get our coats, both the bartender and another waitress seen us waiting, and didn’t do anything to help. Not asking for them to go out of their way, just to communicate to the appropriate people that we were waiting. I also watched a waitress cough straight into her hand and then serve us the chocolate bombe. A little bit uncomfortable.

We were a table of 6 last Wednesday. Celebrating our daughters graduation. Had a set celebratory menu. Food was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. There was a great buzz in the restaurant. Delighted we got a table and certainly look forward to a return visit.

Great food, cold (unfriendly) reception, and slow service. This place seems a bit pretentious and isn't actually as high class as it thinks it is. We made a reservation for a table of 4 late in the evening. When we arrived, we were told the table isn't ready yet and we should head to the bar. The bar was full and it took forever to get the chance to order some drinks because the bar staff was clearly struggling just to try and keep drinks flowing to the tables, let alone serve the people at the bar. Before our drinks were even ready the table was and the server had to bring the drinks to us after we got seated, which added more delay. The server was friendly, but not the quickest. The service was a bit slow and forgetful. It felt like the staff was not only very busy but not very well trained. A bit chaotic. Fortunately, the food was delicious. However, with many other great restaurants in the city I don't see a point in ever coming back here.

Mixed feelings on our visit to The Ivy Dawson St. this week to celebrate our son's graduation. The food was excellent and table waiter service could not be faulted. While waiting for our table, the bar was a bit chaotic with staff interrupting each other mid flow which meant our four drinks were served - one at a time - 15 minutes apart. Unfortunately, we also fell foul of occasion based booking and chose what was described as the "Class of 2024" set menu (3 course for 65eur). With an extra 10eur supplement for steaks, we certainly paid dearly for our graduation experience !! We didnt know about the special "lunch menu" which was circa 28eur p/person for 2 courses and it wasn't possible to view the set menu online in advance ..... so we just sucked it up. After drinks were added, the bill for 4 people was just short of 400eur and while I like to add a tip when appropriate, on this occasion I just couldn't justify it. All said and done, the venue is great for a special occasion and the quality of food excellent so if you choose correctly, it should tick all the boxes. My advice would be to check all menus carefully in advance and understand what you're booking.

The design combines elegance and sophistication with a vibrant composition. I absolutely loved it. From the very first moment, you're greeted by a friendly and attentive team. The starters, main courses, and desserts are all fantastic. I might have discovered this place late, but I’m sure I’ll be back. If I had to make one negative comment, it would be about the server visiting the table every 3-5 minutes. Honestly, we couldn’t have a proper conversation in peace. Some people might enjoy this kind of attention, but I didn’t feel free or relaxed enough because of it.

The food and drinks were fantastic, and the steaks were cooked to perfection. The bread was the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Our waiter, Stanislav, was incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and keeping the table tidy between courses. Excellent service all around

Beautiful restaurant but the lunch was very disappointing. The kiln of salmon tasted only of lemon and pepper. The chicken breast was nice but the potatoes and veg were mediocre.

Very enjoyable visit with my wife. Great attention to detail by waitress. Grilled asparagus for starter delicious and for main had the Prawn tagliatelle, very creamy!Decor pleasant and we were not rushed at all. Shoutout to Nick aswell for professionalism and friendliness. Overall a very pleasant experience and in terms of value setting and ambience second to none. Will be sure to visit again. Mark
