Had an amazing time with you when I and my friends who were in primary and secondary school together spent a night with you on 16th Nov .Our second year meeting in your hotel.We were all 70 between last year and this year.We will be back with you in 2026

Great hotel, staff are amazingly friendly and professional. Food in the bar is great and the chowder is exceptionally good.

Very friendly staff and easy check-in. But I must make mention that the rooms have no recycling bins. Which means the hotel is not recycling its rubbish. For a hotel to be tossing everything into landfill in this day and age is a disgrace. We are all making more effort and they should too.

My partner and I had our second child recently but needed to be admitted to Portlaoise Hospital for Post-Op checks and tests. Now, my partner is breast feeding, stressed and unwell. Add onto that the horrible food in hospitals and you can imagine how we’re getting on. Then the Killeshin jumps in. My partner asked to order something from there to go as it’s the healthiest and most nutritious option, which I know they don’t do and I told her we’ll try something else. I rang anyway, explained the situation and within 2 minutes, they agreed without any hesitation. I was even told that they’d hold off on making it until I got there to make sure it was as fresh as possible. Arrived, waited 5 minutes and was handed a to-go box with a mountain of food AND a side we didn’t request. Went to pay, and you know what happened next. They refused point blank! The lady on the front desk was phenomenal and the server managed to lighten the mood for a new father who was on edge over his partner being unwell. Owners of Killeshin Hotel. If & when you see this.
