What a great place. One of the best experiences we had in Ireland. One Italian guy running a small place who loves great wine and great food. It’s a hole in the wall with only a few tables but don’t miss it. Fantastic!

Highly recommended! The wines are varied and very good, the bartender is very friendly, and the cheese board is exquisite and varied (Irish, Italian, Spanish, etc.). We will definitely return! It's also in the heart of Galway but away from the hustle and bustle, which also adds points! 5/5 without a doubt!

So, this place is 10 meters off the main street of the Latin Quarter in Galway. It’s just far enough to return to quiet from the endless buskers that dominate the main streets. We found it by accident. Best mistake I made in Galway! It was a weekday, so not packed with people waiting. There was zero wait time. The proprietor is the chef, sommelier, and host. The FRESH oysters were spectacular. The wine selection was enormous for an intimate place. The selections were wide ranging. My partner described what type of wine she was craving… and his selection was perfect. I had a fantastic French Pinot. We wound up staying for a second glass and cheese plate with 5 different chutneys. Tons of local Irish cheese. The cheddar with Guinness was fantastic, and the Spanish manchego was spectacular. The chutney dips were a perfect compliment. The owner is obviously passionate about every aspect of the bar. His attention to detail is evident in everything. I will return, and can give a full endorsement. Highly recommend.

Found this gem when looking for a late night dinner. Did not disappoint - excellent wine selection and awesome cheeses. Everything was first class.

The perfect wine bar. Cosy, welcoming, a great selection of wines, and excellent recommendations if you don't know what you want. The food boards are presented with thought and care and you are guaranteed to get something interesting and new each time you visit.
