The Fitzpatrick castle was amazing. It’s not too far from Dublin so the location is great. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant and were always available when we needed anything. The Dungeon Bar has really good food and drinks so check them out if you have the chance. We are looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to Ireland.

We stayed twice in this beautiful hotel. The ambiance and setting of the hotel is really great. The hotel rooms were excellent. The breakfast and dinner was very tastefull.
We enjoyed our stay in the lovely village Dalkey.

Firstly I might add the service upon arrival from the girl at the desk was exceptional and the reason for 5 stars.
Everything explained very well with a map of walks around the area and points of interest.
I was on the 5th floor with an incredible view from the Balcony of Dun Laoghaire Harbour and even the famous Forty Foot.
Unfortunately the rooms were a bit basic and lacked the charm expected of an experiential castle hotel such as Killashee, Lucan or Trim.
Wi-Fi was good, pillows comfy and an espresso machine. The food in the dungeon restaurant was very reasonably priced and pretty tasty.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to use the gym facilities.
There are EV chargers and a lot of parking.

Was one of the best hotels I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. Not only we’re the rooms and scenery incredible but the service was outstanding. A Huge shoutout to John in the restaraunt and Emily at the service desk. Lots of thanks from your Australian Pals! ☺️

I unexpectedly found myself in Dublin needing a hotel with no notice on a Sunday night. The city hotels were almost fully booked but there was some availability in the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel. I phoned the receptionist and she was very accommodating, I arrived 30 minutes later and she was able to give me a very fair rate, including breakfast. This is a really nice four star hotel on the outskirts of Dublin, the grounds are lovely, as are the bar and the rooms. The breakfast was really good. The staff were outstanding, very professional and kind to me when I was stuck. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

A five min walk to a beautiful forest, ocean overlook, and a panoramic view of Dublin. Highly recommend, especially if you have your own transportation. Nice pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steamroom and fitness center. The pool has adult hours and family/kids hours throughout the day to create desired atmospheres for all. Make sure to book a massage or spa services in advance (appointments were filled for the entire week I was there). Breakfast was amazing with delicious options and excellent service. The restaurant and bar were equally welcoming and high quality food, service and fair prices.
After a long trip, I'd recommend taking a taxi from the airport, but plan to spend 75-90 euros depending on traffic. A shuttle drops off nearby, and sidewalks are smooth, but it's a 15 min walk and mostly uphill from the shuttle.
Family friendly. There's a nearby park for little ones, a paddle court, and a large, beautiful lawn to lounge.
