The Library Bar in Dublin

An old castle has been restored and converted into a hotel. The atmosphere is lovely. The decor takes you back in time. The breakfast is excellent.

The ladies in the holiday homes themselves were EXTREMELY helpful! Those that worked within the castle, maybe not so much.

My compliments to Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel for a most memorable happy enjoyable dinner party 🎉 for my 80th Birthday Party last night. From the Cocktail Party on arrival to the Dinner and then the breakfast the next morning my 50 guests thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The food was beautifully cooked and delicious to eat. The staff were professional, kind and very polite and willing to go that extra mile if and when necessary. Lovely hotel in a fantastic setting within an easy commute from Dublin centre. Good pool and fitness centre also Only slight negatives were for such a great location our view was of a brick wall and also the prices were a bit much. We would have spent more time in the hotel however when a Guiness and a wine were nearly 22 euros we decided to eat and drink elsewhere

Beautiful hotel, excellent service, rooms, and food. Location was near Dalkey village, train station, and lots of hiking areas.

Great service from Emily and team. Amazing sea view, nice segan options in room service and the gym access is great!

It is a cool hotel in an old castle. Seems they are renovating as there were boxes in hallways.

Was here for a private event - the staff were so lovely and food was gorgeous! Have also gone to the coffee dock a few times, such a gorgeous spot to sit and read

Just had a 2 night stay at the Fitzpatrick. It was great.A real 'tardis ' as there is so much within the hotel. Great food and staff . Nothing was too much trouble with taxis etc... . We didnt have a car as we used the fantastic rail service from Belfast and then the dart .It was about a half a mile walk up the hill. The village of Dalkey was more like a town offering great pubs and nice places to eat Thankyou

Emily was a pleasure to meet at reception when we arrived. The room was available from 12 o clock and we have till 12 o clock to check out, the spa and swimming is lovely and inclusive also swim aerobic, the staff are So helpful, the value is excellent that includes breakfast, the view from our room with balcony was fabulous
