The Library Bar in Dublin

About an hour from Dublin Airport, stunning scenic views of the Irish Sea are very close by. The food is fantastic, amazing lamb burger with feta & the best fries I've ever had. Staff is friendly &. accommodating. My favorite thing was the shower. I've been without conditioner for my entire stay in ireland and most hotels have the hand soap/shampoo/ body wash all-in-one. Fitzpatrick Castle knows how to treat their guests. The White Company- Noir scent amenities were luxurious and smell so good. My belly is full and my hair is happy. I wish we had more than one night here. A+++

Great hotel staff very helpful and friendly

So I’ve stayed for 4 nights and as a Muslim traveller, finding ways to travel through Ramadan can be challenging. Hotels that only open the doors to breakfast at 7am may not all even attempt to modestly accommodate religious need when our fast begins before 5am but Fabiano who is the night porter there pulled out the extra stops to provide something modest for me. This is no small token, any hotel that prides itself by putting hospitality ahead of commerce should be absolutely recognised. My thanks to Fabiano and to Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel for hiring him, he’s a credit to you.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, and I can honestly say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views over Dublin Bay and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it the perfect escape while still being close to the city. The hotel itself beautifully combines classic charm with modern comfort. The staff were outstanding — warm, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. Service across all departments was efficient and genuinely friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The food and beverage experience was equally impressive, with great quality dishes, excellent presentation, and a welcoming atmosphere throughout the bar and restaurant areas. Whether for a relaxing getaway, a special occasion, or a business stay, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel delivers on all levels. I would highly recommend it and look forward to returning again soon.

Attended there for a comedy show so can only say to how fabulous a hotel it is in the room the show was on and later down in the bar which was fabulous really great atmosphere in it and very friendly staff helpful to as they arranged a taxi for us definitely go back and will stay next time

Went for an afternoon tea given to us as a gift. Reserved table well set up. Staff welcoming, friendly and efficient. The meal itself was excellent and very enjoyable. We were surprised to see so many other people there at what we thought would be a less busy time... so obvious popular place. The setting is extravagant old world luxury.

A very comfortable hotel in Dalkey. Service is always excellent. Keeping food hot on the breakfast buffet is still a challenge.
