An incredible proper local Dublin pub, a pleasure to drink in & our favourite of all the bars we tried in our short stay! Visited on a weekday afternoon after exploring the city centre and absolutely adored this special place! Quick service in a relaxed atmosphere, quiet music plays as the small chatter of tables adds to the vibes. We managed to get a booth and loved just passing the time in here. The Guinness was very nice, creamy and not too bitter and at around €7 notably cheaper than the Temple Bar area just a few minutes away, the interior is stunning with brilliant relics of beer memorabilia & artefacts dotted around the walls. Famously this is Bruce Springsteen's pub of choice when in the city and if it's approved by The Boss then you know it's good. Would've happily stayed here for hours but we were pressed for time, but will undoubtedly return here next time we are in the city, our favourite of all the pubs we visited & I can't recommend it enough if you want a taste of an authentic historical Dublin pub!

We came from abroad and todays our last day honestly wish we had time to come back again tonight. Vibe super chill and local. Prices are actually very reasonable and it's just one of those places you end up loving without expecting it. If you looking for local spot definitely you should visit this bar

Great historic pub to stop and have a pint at. Didn’t eat, just stoped in for a pint.

One of the best bars in Dublin, a great pint of Guinness expertly pulled. A great spot for tourists and Dubliners alike.

A classic pub. Had some great drinks; enjoyed the atmosphere in there. I wasn’t feeling well, so they made me a great Hot Toddy. I wish I took photos inside, it looks so cool inside.

The quality of Guinness has plummeted in so many good Dublin pubs once renowned for their pint of plain. Not so the Long Hall. And the service is a cut above the rest too. Top shop

The Sidecar

02/05/2026: A big thank you to Sebastian for his warm welcome, expertise, and excellent cocktail recommendations. He took the time to understand our preferences and suggested drinks accordingly—each one perfectly suited to our taste. Every cocktail was exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
27/04/2026: Amazing cocktails. Came here because I say it was on the Pinnacle Guide - usually a good benchmark. The cocktails were innovative and I wish I could've stayed longer and tried out the martini-trolley that is brought to your table to make any martini 'your way'. Tried out some cocktails from their signature menu which were both innovative and delicious. Being given a welcome drink alongside snacks is a really lovely touch, too. The service received was professional and friendly and I would love to re-visit.
