The Long Hall in Dublin

Busy pub but you'll always find a corner to occupy. No live music, no TV. Just conversation, good service & drinks aplenty. Friendly bar staff & waiting staff.

Friendly and welcoming even by Irish pub standards. A beautiful historic pub and a lovely place to spend a few hours. Tried their own brewery's Nitro Red Ale and their stout. Both were really good. Obviously a tourist destination but doesn't feel overly touristy. Well worth a visit.

Lovely place, super picturesque, but very small. It's good for a get-together with friends, but arrive early because otherwise there's no room.

Had such a good time here. I found this place doing some research on Phil Lynnot and Thin Lizzy.

The service staff at the Long Hall is on point- the staff is ever-present and friendly, never leaves your glass empty. Fish and chips were good, my boyfriend had the cottage pie and loved it. Not the best best pub food I've had in my life, but honestly really good and impressively fast for such a large, bustling business. If you're looking for quiet and cozy / "real pub" experience, this isn't quite it (anything in the city center is likely to have tourists) but it is still very much worth the visit. If you're looking for a lively, busy and fun pub with great service and really good food, you found it. The space itself is gorgeous, really well kept up.

Really cool bar. Tried some of the local beer and the bar tender gave us some great recommendations for local food.

Came here after an Irish Whiskey Museum tasting at their recommendation. I came to Ireland thinking all Irish whiskey would burn my throat and I learned that not only is that not true but for me specifically I actually much prefer Irish whiskey over scotch or bourbon. Special shoutout to bartender Tracy for being so kind and so funny and so helpful and so patient helping me dial in what kind of Irish whiskey I prefer! ♥️
