The food is the best we've had during our stay in Ireland. It's not a trendy tourist trap; it's a nice pub with reasonable prices.

Great pub, good music. If you're having dinner there, ask to go upstairs. Small, cozy, and quiet room. Simple and delicious food.

Had an hour to kill and popped in for lunch. Had a latte and Guinness Stew. The stew wasn’t good. Didn’t taste nice. Little enough beef in the stew and what beef there was, was tough. Coffee was good though. Service was brisk and welcoming. I didn’t quite finish my meal. When asked how it was I said grand. At €19 I’d expect a lot better.

A great traditional Irish Pub. Great atmosphere and food. I can't really rate the service as we got there earlier than the crowd. But we did have good service with a limited staff at the time. I would definitely go back there.

Food came out fast tasty burger and chicken sandwich. May I suggest they keep the loo door closed as an odor was noticed.

The Irish beef stew was good; the meat was tender and lean. I was surprised to find that the plate was surrounded by mashed potatoes, with no potatoes in the stew itself. But it tasted very good. Just one slight disappointment – it wasn’t served with traditional Irish soda bread, but with two slices of white bread.

The beef stew tasted really good – provided you're a big fan of onions. The carrots were present in homeopathic doses, and you practically needed a magnifying glass to find the tiny piece of meat. After a two-week holiday in Ireland, we now know pretty much exactly what good fish and chips should taste like. Unfortunately, these were the complete opposite. What a shame. So why a 5-star overall rating? Everyone should form their own opinion.

The Grayson

20/08/2026: We recently visited The Grayson and tried the Bubbles & Brunch menu and thought it was great value for Dublin! The mimosas were the perfect start, and both the chicken caesar salad and classic burger were delicious. The parmesan chips were a particular highlight, definitely recommend tasting them! We both finished with the chocolate brownie, which was gorgeous. The interiors are beautiful, the atmosphere was lovely and we had such an enjoyable experience overall. A gorgeous spot for a weekend brunch right on St Stephen’s Green. We’ll definitely be back!
