The Malt House in Mount bellew

While passing through Ireland for a road trip, we were recommended this pub in Mountbellew. We were not disappointed. Very good meat and very good salmon. The atmosphere was friendly. Friendly staff. I recommend this place

Good portions , nice dinner, lovely pub , very busy

Wonderful pub in a village outside of Galway city. We came in by chance in the afternoon and had an absolutely fantastic experience. Service was quick and friendly, the dinner special (roast beef) was wonderful. Probably the best meal we had in Ireland for a fraction of the price of many fancy restaurants. Just a great pub, stop in if you're ever close by.

Quiet spot ,few locals eating and drinking a few pints,,, waitresses not overly friendly and took care of the people they knew by name and forgot about me ,had to approach a different waitress,, ordered chicken supreme,bland chicken breast with wing piece, some spuds and small amount of veg 16.50 for this mediocre bland meal,,I read the reviews and had high hopes but that soon fizzled out .Food is too expensive for what it is. Overall disappointed and wouldn't stop here again.

Great value for lunch and good portion. Very nice staff as well. High chairs available. No complaints
