I love a good fish and chip.. somehow I don't think it fresh fish, its way to chucking to be fresh. The batter on the fish is way to greasy and not crispy at all. Beer batter fish is the way to go and fresh not frozen fish.

Fantastic food. Got pizza and the dough was so light and fluffy. Chips were great too! So fresh! Got it delivered, and the timing was fast. Delivery driver very friendly too! Excellent!

I found the chicken pieces too big — it even makes it harder to eat; they looked like whole pieces of chicken. They also come very spicy. The chips are cut quite large, and the salt is added at the end, so it ends up concentrated on only some of the chips.

Supermac's & Papa John's Cork Road

20/12/2025: I have to post an update to my previous review. Our latest visit to Supermacs was a completely different, and wonderful, experience. The staff were far friendlier and more attentive than before. But what truly made our day was an act of kindness that went above and beyond. My son, who is autistic, was trying to open the door to the stairs. A staff member (a lovely female employee whose name I unfortunately didn't catch) didn't just open the door—she kindly and safely carried him up the stairs herself. This simple act of kindness has changed my view.
12/12/2025: I have to compliment Angela at your Cork Road branch in Waterford. Angela is an outstanding staff member. We have been served by her numerous times and Everytime it is done with patience, care and most of all a fantastic attitude. She truly is an asset to your company. Staff like this make the business successful. I hope you can relay the compliment to Angela.

13/04/2026: Its never the worst but can be a hit or miss sometimes unfortunately. When its a hit its really good, the bread is great, meat is great, vegetables great. I just wish they would maintain this top quality every time. When its a miss, its really a sloppy joes type of shenanigans where the bread is damp and soggy, meat is overcooked or perhaps reheated who knows. Hence my ratings 3\5 food , 5\5 service as they are always friendly no bullshit, and atmosphere doesnt exist 😂 1\5. My one wish - find a way to maintain the food quality.
