We popped into the Moy Hotel Restaurant after visiting the Foxford Woollen Mills and were so glad we did! The Beetroot Salad was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—truly a standout. The Fish and Chips were equally impressive: crisp, golden batter with perfectly cooked fish and chips. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service made this an unexpected highlight of our day. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!

Guirys Bar

16/07/2025: Had a great chat with Pat. We'll be back. Lovely Guinness
25/06/2025: If you’re looking for the best pint of Guinness on the planet, look no further than Guiry’s, a small, family-run gem that’s worth travelling for (and I literally travel from Leeds just for a pint). This place isn’t just a pub; it’s a proper Irish welcome wrapped in warm conversation, local charm, and that unbeatable creamy head on a pint that dreams are made of. The staff are lovely, the atmosphere is effortlessly authentic. Whether you’re popping in for the perfect pint or staying for the craic, Guiry’s never misses. 10/10 would recommend, and already planning my next trip.

The Old Salt Coffee

10/05/2025: Beautiful coffee, great chats and an all around lovely couple!
10/05/2025: Absolute gem in the heart of Foxford. Really friendly cafe run by a fabulous hardworking couple, Lee Anne & Peter. They always remember our order and greet us with a smile and a chat. There's so many positives I could list for this cafe but to name just a few ... Dog Friendly Artwork - The Old Salt have very generously offered their wall space free of charge supporting local artists. Local business - They also support small local businesses by offering their shelf space and through recommendations. Great coffee and a nice selection of cakes and treats with some ice cold options during good weather. Community hub - guaranteed to meet some interesting locals and tourists alike. Perfect place to put you in a good mood. Lee Anne & Peter we are so lucky to have you. Keep doing what you're doing.
