01/01/2025: I'd been craving some Shepard's Pie for days, but nowhere I could find served it. I had called ahead and confirmed this place had it and could make it, but then when we arrived, the server politely said it was on their lunch menu and they can't do it for dinner. I was so sad. I told them I had called ahead and was told different, and had come specifically for that dish, so they checked with the kitchen and came back with a yes. I felt slightly rude, but it was absolutely worth it; 11/10. Great service, just a small misunderstanding that was quickly smoothed over. I'm sad I'm not staying longer, I'd love to come back.
