the neighbourhood cafe in Galway

This is a fab 5 star restaurant .The food and coffee is the best in Co .Galway .The staff are very efficent and friendly .I spoke with a girl called Chloe today on the phone and she was so pleasent and helpful to me on the phone .Thanks to all the staff for all your great appreciated work ..I'll b back for more of your delicious food 😋.

Well what a revelation in Doughiska! This understated restaurant really delivers in terms of food, value and courtesy of staff. This place really is one of the best kept secrets in Galway, the freshness of the food really shone through with more than ample portion sizes and excellent sides and great tasting sauces. Value today is hard to come by but at approx e80 for 4 very hungry adults with mains, sides and a drink each and even a fantastic bakery treat for the way home you will be hard pressed to find anything similar around especially in the City. It's called a cafe but the chef delivers excellent restaurant quality food with a menu that carers for vegetarians through to meat eaters. Staff were very attentive too with friendly fast service and with the baked cakes etc available for sale by the counter you probably won't be on a diet if visiting the Neighbourhood cafe but you will leave happy in the knowledge that you have finally visited a hidden gem that delivers with great food and fantastic value. Highly recommend this place we going back next week!!!

This place has a separate gluten free breakfast lunch and breakfast menu which is amazing. Food is awesome. You usually need to queue but get seated fast. A wee gem !

Best Vegan full Irish I have ever had 😍. Mushrooms spiced with chili, sausages scrumptious and a little spicy, beans were also seasoned beautifully. Avocado fresh and cold, perfect with the hot hash browns and warm sourdough bread. A delight 😍

Great porridge scones and coffee and nice staff.

It was a very busy lunchtime when we were in. We got the BLT, kids goujons and kids burger, all with chips. Food was fantastic and the service was fast, much faster than we thought given how busy it was, we were prepared to wait. Will definitely be back and will be reccomending to friends.
