the neighbourhood cafe in Galway

Very noisy, busy, slow, queues. Food is OK but nothing fantastic. Staff are not very helpful.

I’m in Galway twice a week for work and this café has become my regular stop without fail. The coffee is always delicious, and their breakfast burrito is a real standout — not easy to find in Dublin, never mind Galway! I tried it once and now I get it every single time. Great spot with consistently good food and coffee.

Go here regularly for coffee and bakery goods which are always amazing! I tried the lunch and was not disappointed. They offer gluten free bread which was extremely good quality as most gluten free breads are rubbish. There’s was the first one I have ever enjoyed from a restaurant. All the bakery items are made there and you can tell by the high quality and freshness.

Very good quality food, smiling, efficient service but a bit load. Very happy with our visit!

I've been a loyal customer of The Neighbourhood Cafe for several years yet, It's definitely my go-to place whenever I want to introduce friends or visitors to a truly homely and welcoming atmosphere. Saoirse, the manager, and her entire team are simply wonderful – they genuinely can't do enough for you. And the food! The home-cooked meals and lovely desserts are always delicious!
