The Old Deanery Cottages Ferns in Ferns

The Old Deanery is a fantastic venue for a group event and one I couldn’t recommend more! We had my sisters hen party there with 22 people who all had a great time. Bryanna was so helpful with everything from start to finish. There are plenty of communal spaces to hold different activities and the cottages are very well equipped and clean, Bryanna also left milk, coffee, tea and biscuits in each cottage which was a lovely touch. A special shout out and thanks to Jack for helping out with our many drink requests! The place is very picturesque and we were able to come down early to decorate. Plenty of fridge/freezer storage too. Overall I highly recommend the Old Deanery for any group event!

An amazing idyllic venue for any celebration, full of history! We had an amazing time here for my sister's hen party weekend. The owner Bryanna was so helpful from start to finish. Everything you could need is on site, the cottages were perfect and the barn which is decorated beautifully is ideal for activities and night time celebrations and music/karaoke. Only a 3 minute drive from Ferns village where we had a great meal in the Courtyard restaurant. We had the best time and would highly recommend for groups.

The Old Deanery is a really fantastic place to stay! From our first contact with Bryanna the amazing host we knew it was the place for our party. Bryanna is so helpful from answering all our queries prior to our trip, arranging and collecting and delivering our food, to the warm welcome on arrival and follow up on our departure she is fantastic - 10/10!!! The cottages are well kept, clean and perfect for groups / families. The grounds are beautiful with the large lawn at the back and the barn for indoor events / activities and catering. The prosecco reception in the wine cellar was a lovely touch and Jack the barman was very friendly and helpful. We really couldn't recommend the Old Deanery more!
