Absolute gem in the heart of Foxford. Really friendly cafe run by a fabulous hardworking couple, Lee Anne & Peter. They always remember our order and greet us with a smile and a chat. There's so many positives I could list for this cafe but to name just a few ... Dog Friendly Artwork - The Old Salt have very generously offered their wall space free of charge supporting local artists. Local business - They also support small local businesses by offering their shelf space and through recommendations. Great coffee and a nice selection of cakes and treats with some ice cold options during good weather. Community hub - guaranteed to meet some interesting locals and tourists alike. Perfect place to put you in a good mood. Lee Anne & Peter we are so lucky to have you. Keep doing what you're doing.

Disappointed after hearing good about it. First absolute no no paper cups in a coffee shop no cups at all. If I wanted to drink from paper cup I would go to a take away. Not much interaction from girl serving. Lemon cake very nice. Coffee very good but not from a paper cup. Guy was more interactive

Had a Acai bowl and two coffees there. The Acai bowl was really good The fruit was of such good quality. Coffee was really good too. Service was great. Nice vibe and tables outside to catch the sun.

Delightful visit to The Old Salt Coffee Lab in Foxford. The coffee was superb served with a smile. Lovely warm friendly atmosphere. We had a 10-minute wait for the pharmacy to reopen after lunch and it was great opportunity to pop in. It was my first time to actually go in and sit down as I live in Foxford. I loved the decor and I was so glad they kept the same theme as their mobile coffee van. I highly recommend anyone passing to pop in for their delicious coffee, you certainly won't be disappointed. So grateful to have this little gem in our town.☕️☕️

Can't resist stopping off here for a coffee when I'm passing through, what a hidden little gem. The taste is in a word 'perfect' (every time). The staff are cheerful and attentive, as soon as you walk in its unmistakable and adds a real personal element. A made to order cappuccino costs €3.50 which I would consider underpriced for what your getting "but shhhhh, don't tell anyone". You'll notice them take a bit more care and time than some of the larger chains and you can definitely taste the difference in your drink. If you have your own coffee machine you can buy a bag of coffee and I can honestly say its the nicest coffee I've found so far and I've tried a lot, branded as 'SUNDAY' it's a medium roasted Aribica/Robusta washed blend and a 1kg bag costs €30 and considering the best tasting supermarket coffee I could fund was Lavazza @ €25 it was well worth the extra €5 but a professional barista will always kick your b**t when it comes to a taste test. Try it once and prove me wrong, I DARE YA!
